It’s the friendship fallout no Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fan saw coming — and now Sutton Stracke is finally speaking out.
In a candid new interview, Sutton opened up about her emotional rift with Garcelle Beauvais following Garcelle’s decision to leave RHOBH. The two had built one of the most genuine bonds in the franchise since joining the cast together in Season 10, making the sudden tension all the more heartbreaking.
“I’m sorry for hurting her,” Sutton said, reflecting on the distance that’s formed between them. “I never meant for it to go down like this. Garcelle was a true friend, and I love her dearly.”
Sutton revealed they did speak on the day Garcelle announced her exit, but the conversation was brief and heavy. According to Sutton, Garcelle told her, “I couldn’t call you before because I knew you’d talk me out of it.” Sutton admitted that stung — but also proved just how strong their connection once was.
Then came the unfollow. Garcelle unfollowed Sutton and other castmates on social media, which Sutton called “hurtful” but something she understands may have been part of a larger emotional break.
“I think we both need time,” Sutton added. “We need a real, private conversation — away from cameras, away from pressure.”
Fans have flooded social media with messages of heartbreak and hope, with many calling for a reunion between the two.
Whether that reconciliation happens on or off camera, one thing’s clear: Beverly Hills hasn’t seen the last of this friendship.
