After a brief hiatus, it was recently announced that RHOBH will return to our screens on November 19th. Of course, this season will feature a smaller cast than fans are accustomed to. However, it should mean we see more of the ladies’ stories.
Recently, Sutton talked to The Standard about season 14. She starts, “It’s an interesting season, because there’s only six housewives, so that makes us tighter. There’s a lot of tension, of course, a lot of drama. We have some great trips.”
However, Sutton insists that this season isn’t one-dimensional. She explains, “So it’s, I think, such a well-rounded season. It’s not all tension and ugly and angry. This is there’s all of that too, but there’s fun and I think a lot of camaraderie, which is what I love the most.”
She also discussed the new faces for the season. For starters, Bozoma Saint John will be a full-time housewife. Sutton says she was a “great addition.” Of course, legendary actress Jennifer Tilly is also a friend of this year.
According to Sutton, “One of my best friends comes on, Jennifer Tilly, and she’s a friend of, but she’s so much more than a friend of, she’s quite a force in and of herself, and she’s really funny, and it’s fun for me to get to watch her meet all of the women and find her way through.”
She adds, “And, of course, Kathy Hilton is back. So between the two of them, it’s just funny.”
The interviewer then asks about the cast changes from last year. Specifically, Crystal Kung Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley were both let go. Of course, Sutton mentions the drama with her esophagus from last season.
She says, “Crystal and I are great friends, the other one is very busy investigating people’s medical conditions.”
Surprisingly, Sutton then says, “I have become friends with Erica so there you go. We still have tension, but we kind of like our tension. We’re weird like that, you know, we’re sort of like a married couple in that way. You know, we like to get angry with one another. I don’t know why, but then we like to make up.”
The RHOBH star also spoke to US Weekly about that tense fight between Kyle and Dorit. She says, “My thoughts were, ‘Let’s not have the police called on us.”
She then teases that particular episode by saying, “That evening is going to be a really great episode because I think none of us saw it coming. I’m going to keep you on pins and needles because it was wild.”
She was then asked if Kyle and Dorit were able to repair their issues, to which she responded, “I am not going to comment on that. I think that there was some tough love from me with Kyle, but the word love is involved with that. I think that there are lots of explosive arguments that we’re going to see, but then we’re also going to see a lot of fun. It balances.”
Of course, Kyle is going through a breakup, and Sutton wanted to show her some grace this season. According to Sutton, “I wanted to be a better friend. Our friendship kind of had to go through some rocky times to get there, but I want to see her happy.”
The reality star also discussed her friendship with Garcelle Beauvais by saying, “We are thick as thieves. Garcelle and I are best friends, and I love her dearly. When I get home, I’m about to host the baby shower for her granddaughter who’s coming at my house. … She was just in France while I was here [in London], so we were in, sort of, the same time zone. So, that was nice. We could text each other, and yeah, we will not separate.”
Fans can watch older seasons of RHOBH in preparation for the new one on November 19th.
