Sutton Stracke Drops a Rare Bombshell About Her Glamorous Mom Reba – Fans Are Obsessed!

Sutton Stracke's mom, Reba Brown, is another year older, and Sutton is celebrating her because of it. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member recently took to Instagram, where she paid tribute to her mom in honor of her birthday.

In the video, Reba can be seen smiling so widely at the camera and posing alongside Sutton's three children — Porter, Phillip, and James Stracke — at Sutton's youngest son's high school graduation. "Happy Birthday to my mother, Reba!" Sutton wrote in the caption of the post. "We love you. Your California family, Sutton, Porter, Phillip, and James."

Sutton had also penned the sweetest tribute to Reba on her birthday in 2024, giving a bit more insight into her relationship with her mom. "Wish my mother, Reba, the happiest birthday today," she wrote. "A pioneer of a lady who has [paved] the way for all of us women to excel in life and whatever we choose to pursue."

Sutton Stracke opens up about her relationship with her mom, Reba

RHOBH viewers got a look inside Sutton's complicated relationship with Reba during RHOBH Season 14. During the season, Sutton had visited her home in Augusta, Georgia, where she introduced audience members to Reba and shared what their relationship looks like.

During an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Sutton opened up about how her mom had been "worried about herself" while she was going through her divorce from her ex-husband, Christian Stracke, in 2016. "I'm like, 'Well, can we just deal with [our divorce] first? We'll get to you, Reba, but let's do me first," she explained. "And so it was a bit hurtful for me."

Sutton also admitted that her mom was "indifferent" about her getting a divorce from Christian. "She and Christian were very close," she explained. "They kept talking. I was like, 'Why are you talking to him?' She liked to talk to him about what she had read in The New York Times that day."

She continued, sharing that it didn't feel like her mom had been taking her feelings into consideration. "Like, do you not understand that this is hurting me?" Sutton added. "But I think she's gotten it. I don't think they talk anymore."

Inside Sutton Stracke's life in Augusta, where her mom lives

Although Sutton has grown to love life in Beverly Hills, Augusta has her heart. "I love Augusta, Georgia," Sutton said during RHOBH Season 14. "It's where I grew up, of course. It's also where I learned the art of ballet. It's where all my childhood friends are that I still have in my life."

Sutton recently spent time in Augusta in April, when she visited her friends on the weekend of the Master's golf tournament. "Love spending time with my wonderful and caring friends in my hometown of Augusta," she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. "[Masters] is a special time to spend with all of these special people."
