Tampa Bay Lightning’s top prospects have hit the ice and they’re already prepared for when their names are called.

New Lightning top prospect Conor Geekie hopes to make leap to NHL

“Obviously, it’s a big week. I’m just coming in here trying to get my toes a little wet and see what we can do here and take in all the knowledge with all the great people here,” Lightning prospect Conor Geekie said.

“I know what to expect, so obviously, I felt more comfortable and more confident coming into this year, but the expectations are the same. I want to be here to learn,” prospect Ethan Gauthier said.

The Lightning revealed the roster for their 2024 Development Camp, with on-ice workouts kicking off early this week. The camp will conclude with the annual 3-on-3 tournament on Thursday and Friday.

Tampa Bay’s development camp showcases its top prospects, along with recent NHL draftees, invitees, and additional participants.

This year’s camp will feature 2023 draft picks Jayson Shaugabay, second-rounder Ethan Gauthier, Warren Clark, Jack Harvey, and Ethan Hay. The Bolts’ 2022 first-round draft picks Isaac Howard, Lucas Edmonds, and recent signees Milo Roelens and Gabriel Szturc.

The team’s most recent draft picks: fourth-rounder Jan Golicic, fifth-rounder Joona Saarelainen, sixth-rounder Kaden Pitre, and seventh-rounders Joe Connor, Noah Steen, and Harrison Meneghin are also attending the camp.

Overall, the 2024 roster includes 32 players – 21 forwards, seven defensemen, and four goaltenders.
