Tasha Ghouri was visibly moved as she opened a new page in her life with a heartfelt announcement to supporters, marking the first time she has addressed her 'new chapter' publicly since parting ways with Andrew Le Page.
The TV personality is still riding the wave of her recent spell on Strictly Come Dancing. She reached the final alongside professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec last December, consistently wowing judges and viewers alike with their performances on the BBC One show.
Despite not clinching the top spot and the Glitterball trophy, which went to comedian Chris McCausland and his dance partner Dianne Buswell, Tasha and Aljaz's partnership shined through every step of their Strictly journey.
Their collaboration continued post-competition as both took to the stage for the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2025, starting January and wrapping up in early February. Their teamwork paid off handsomely as they emerged victorious, becoming the live audience's favourite across numerous shows.
Confronting the realities of her 'new chapter,' Tasha has been laying low on reports surrounding her break up from Andrew, who she originally met on Love Island, especially while touring
In a TikTok clip, applying makeup, the reality star revealed: "I am living on my own for the first time ever. I am 26 years old and I've just come out of a long-term relationship.
"I'm starting a whole new chapter. I thought my life would look very different to how it is now. I'm kind of on my own journey of finding my self-love again, growing as an individual, as my own person."
expressed Tasha while discussing her recent move and the path she's on.
Tasha has recently moved into her new home, and despite admitting that adapting to the change has been "so scary", she conveyed her reflections on being single at her age: "Being single at 26, I'm nearly turning 27, at first I thought I'd completely failed in my love life, but actually I've realised I'm still so young, I'm still growing, I'm still learning as a person.."
However, it's not all about challenges in Tasha's life as she also celebrates some accomplishments. Proudly sharing that she has received a nomination for the Media Champion of the Year award at the upcoming British Diversity Awards 2025, Tasha acknowledged the honour alongside other distinguished names such as Chris McCausland, her fellow Strictly 2024 contestant, Christine McGuinness, Kate Garraway, and Stacey Solomon.
Upon learning of her nomination, Tasha took to Instagram to express her gratitude, posting a screenshot of the list of nominees with the caption: "Been nominated for a @britdiversity award alongside incredible people!" She continued with heartfelt emotions: "Even just a nomination is amazing! Never been nominated for anything like this before [face holding back tears emoji and white heart icon]. I always try to use my platform in the most positive way to inspire and moments like this makes me stop and just take it all in [white heart icon]."
