The drama on The Real Housewives of New Jersey has reached fever pitch as Margaret Josephs takes aim at co-star Teresa Giudice amid a jaw-dropping financial scandal. Reports recently surfaced that Teresa and her husband, Luis Ruelas, are drowning in over $3 million in tax debt to the state of New Jersey, and the fallout is nothing short of explosive.
In a candid interview with the Daily Mail, Margaret didn’t hold back, addressing Teresa’s spiraling financial woes and throwing some serious shade at Luis. “I think everybody’s used to unfortunate things, and no one wants anything bad,” Margaret said, reflecting on the cast’s reaction to Teresa’s troubles. “Regardless of how anybody feels about her, no one wants to see a sinking ship.” Yet, her sympathy came with a sharp edge. “I feel sorry for her, truthfully,” she added. “No one wants that, and I hope she gets out of it.”

Margaret didn’t mince words when discussing Teresa’s repeated financial missteps. “Truthfully, it’s an unfortunate circumstance for that to happen [to] her again,” she said, referencing Teresa’s past legal and financial troubles. “It sucks… I wish she would’ve made better choices in her partner in life, but I feel bad. I don’t want anything bad for her. I never did.” When pressed on whether Luis has been a positive influence in Teresa’s life, Margaret’s response was blunt: “Obviously not!”
The RHONJ star also took a swipe at Teresa’s handling of a recent video interview, where Teresa abruptly hung up when questioned about the tax debt. “I would love to have taught her crisis PR because I’m really good at it,” Margaret quipped. “She should have answered [the question]. I think she could have handled the interview better. I would have handled it differently.”
As for her relationship with Teresa, Margaret made it clear that reconciliation is off the table. “We ended things on a very unfortunate note,” she revealed, referring to the explosive season finale. “I think our ship has sailed. Again, I don’t want anything bad for her and her family. I hope they move on happily, but I think our ship has sailed.”
Despite the personal drama, Margaret remains focused on the future of RHONJ. She hinted at changes on the horizon, revealing that she’s “referred some people” to casting as the show searches for fresh faces. However, she noted there’s “no update” on new additions just yet.
As Teresa and Luis navigate this latest scandal, all eyes are on how they’ll weather the storm—and whether Margaret’s biting commentary will spark an all-out war between the two Bravo stars. One thing’s for sure: the RHONJ drama is far from over.
