Taylor’s Wild Move: Did She Lure Nick Back Just to Trap Ridge?!

Ridge said yes to Taylor's proposal.

Taylor is doing whatever she can to keep Ridge in her life. She even popped the question on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, the clever fanbase is onto her. They speculated that Taylor pulled this desperate attempt so she could have her man.

Not Leaving Los Angeles

Taylor (Rebecca Budig) showed up for a good reason. She wanted to spend more time with her family, especially since she initially thought she had heart disease. Taylor received a second opinion and learned that she has broken heart syndrome. Her health scare brought Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) back into orbit.

The Forrester Creations fiasco forced them back together. Ridge assumed that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was in on the plan. He left her for Taylor. He’s remained committed to Taylor ever since, but she proposed to secure him. But is she doing more to keep him around?

Sneaky Plan

B&B fans speculate about Taylor’s latest stunt. It’s possible that she might’ve asked Nick (Jack Wagner) to return to Los Angeles to woo Brooke. Taylor seemed satisfied when she heard about his return. One fan on the soap opera message boards asked, “To keep Brooke and Ridge apart, Taylor is desperate by using Nick to distract Brooke from Ridge.”

Some fans agreed with this idea. One user wrote, “I can see that as it would be Ridge’s way out of the relationship.” Another fan mused, “When Nick showed up, my first thought was, could this be another attempt of Taylor’s to get Brooke paired with someone else like she did with the young waiter?”

Fans remember the time when Taylor (ex-Krista Allen) played matchmaker and encouraged Brooke to date the late Hollis (Hollis Chambers). However, not all fans are on board with this idea. They argued there’s no evidence to support this idea. One fan responded, “Don’t see this at all. She was just as surprised as the rest of them were that he was in town.” Another fan wrote, “Don’t see it, but it would be very soapy.”
