Now, ahead of its highly-anticipated premiere next month, HBO has shared several character posters for The Last of Us season 2, showcasing the returning Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Pedro Pascal as Joel, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley as Maria. New characters include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Catherine O'Hara as Gail, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. The most important new characters are Abby, a soldier seeking revenge for the death of a loved one, and Dina, Ellie's love interest who will be introduced in season 2, while Jesse is Dina's ex. Jeffrey Wright reprises his role from The Last of Us Part II as Isaac Dixon, the leader of a militia group. While these four new characters are all from the video game, Gail is an entirely new character created for the show who acts as Joel's therapist in Jackson.
