Teddi Mellencamp, Amid Recovery, Shares a Sweet Message For Dove's 5th Birthday

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum took to Instagram on Feb. 25, where she posted a video filled with photos of her and Dove taken over the past five years. In the photos, Teddi's two older children with Edwin — daughter, Slate, and son, Cruz Arroyave — can be seen embracing their younger sister, in addition to Teddi smiling alongside her daughter during various stages of life. "Happy birthday my baby," she wrote over the sweet photos.

Teddi then took to the caption of the post, where she shared her super sweet message for Dove. "Happy birthday to my miracle baby," she wrote. "Hard to believe it's been 5 years since you made our lives better and brighter. But no matter how grown you get, you'll always be my Baby Dovey."

Teddi's friends and several Bravolebrities then took to the comments of the post, where they shared their birthday wishes for Dove and support for Teddi amid her recovery. "Happy birthday Dove!!" Margaret Josephs wrote. "Sending love and healing vibes to the best mama there is."

"Happy birthday Dove your momma named u right. You radiate joy and peace and love to this world," Dolores Catania added. "Big hugs to u [Teddi]."

Edwin also took to Instagram on Tuesday, where he made his own sweet video for his little one, filled with photos and memories. "God granted us a miracle 5 years ago," he wrote in the caption of the post. "And she has made me laugh every day since."

"Happy birthday Baby Dove," he added. "Love you so much, my princess."

Edwin celebrated Dove's birthday alongside Teddi's parents, musician dad, John Mellencamp, and mom, Victoria Granucci. Edwin first took to his Instagram Story where he posted a photo of Slate and Cruz standing behind Teddi's mom, who held Dove in her lap. Dove, on the other hand, could not be any more excited to show off her new age, holding up five fingers while smiling for the camera.

"Dove is officially five today," he wrote over the post, tagging Teddi's mom.

The family was then joined by Teddi's dad at a restaurant, where they feasted on food, posed for photos, and celebrated the smallest member of their family. "And the celebration continues for Dove," the father of four wrote over one photo.

Edwin was also able to capture a sweet photo of John posing with Dove. "Grandpa love," he captioned the photo.
