Teddi Mellencamp Reveals How She's Treating Stage 4 Brain Cancer: It'll Get Better

RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp is sharing new details on her battle with Stage 4 cancer.

Teddi Mellencamp is taking the next step in her cancer treatment journey by doing both immunotherapy and radiation.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who is battling Stage 4 melanoma (which has spread to her lungs and brain), shared an update on her latest immunotherapy session on her Instagram Story on April 2.

"Some days I feel really strong, and other days I feel really alone, and I think that's a normal part of what any of us are going through. And that's OK," Teddi candidly shared in a video she took while resting in bed and later posted on her page. "Stage 4 cancer can be scary. Yesterday was the first day I ever had to do immunotherapy and radiation on the same day. And I feel so tired and run down, but I know it's going to get better again... It will get better."

She also posted a selfie from one of her treatment sessions.

"45 mins in here — hopefully saving my life," she wrote alongside the image.

In the same interview, Teddi said that she's been handling her Stage 4 diagnosis with her signature humor.

"Everybody wants me to be super positive all the time," she said. "One of my coping mechanisms is being sarcastic. I’d rather joke about it and have the best possible outcome than be completely in denial and have my heart broken."

Teddi learned that she had four more tumors in her brain after speaking with the outlet.
