eddi Mellencamp is taking the next step in her cancer treatment journey by doing both immunotherapy and radiation.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who is battling Stage 4 melanoma (which has spread to her lungs and brain), shared an update on her latest immunotherapy session on her Instagram Story on April 2.
"Some days I feel really strong, and other days I feel really alone, and I think that's a normal part of what any of us are going through. And that's OK," Teddi candidly shared in a video she took while resting in bed and later posted on her page. "Stage 4 cancer can be scary. Yesterday was the first day I ever had to do immunotherapy and radiation on the same day. And I feel so tired and run down, but I know it's going to get better again... It will get better."
She also posted a selfie from one of her treatment sessions.
"45 mins in here — hopefully saving my life," she wrote alongside the image.
Teddi, who shares kids Slate, Cruz, and Dove Arroyave with estranged husband Edwin Arroyave (she's also a stepmom to his daughter, Isabella), is listening to her body when it comes to taking time to rest. She's also maintaining a sense of normalcy by walking, going to workout classes when she feels up to it, and attending horse shows with Slate.
Teddi Mellencamp opens up about immunotherapy amid Stage 4 cancer battle
During a cover story interview with Us Weekly in March 2025, Teddi shared some insight into how her immunotherapy and radiation treatments have been going.
"I thought I was going to feel like how I felt after my neck lift," she joked. "My reaction is always a headache, and I found out that’s good news because it means that the immunotherapy or the radiation is killing your cancer."
