Less than a month after sharing that she had multiple brain tumors resulting from her past battle with melanoma, Teddi Mellencamp is revealing the results of her latest scan.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member took to her Instagram feed on March 6 to confirm that not all of the tumors in her brain were removed, and that doctors have found more tumors in her lungs.
"Update from my scans today: I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren’t able to be removed via surgery. I also have [two] tumors in my lung. These are all metastases of my melanoma," she wrote in the caption alongside a selfie of her in a blonde wig (she had to shave her hair when she underwent surgery).

Teddi went on in the caption to divulge her next steps. "The doctors are hopeful that immunotherapy will effectively treat them," she added.
Though the news was not what she had hoped for, Teddi is optimistic about what lies ahead of her.
"I am feeling positive — that I will win this battle, that I got this wig (I like the short hair, just not the bald spots), and that I can remember all of Angelina’s kids' names," she continued, adding in humor (according to her bestie, Kyle Richards, Teddi came out of surgery and remembered all of "Angelina Jolie's kids' names").
She concluded, "Now, as [Andy Cohen] would say: with all due… f*** off, cancer!"

The former diamond holder initially announced that she had Stage 2 melanoma (skin cancer) in 2022. Kyle noticed suspicious spots on Teddi's back during a walk, which prompted the mom of three to get them checked out.
Since then, Teddi has been very open with her followers about the importance of seeing a dermatologist regularly, and about the numerous other cancerous growths she's had removed from her skin.
As Teddi shared in her Instagram post in March 2025, her melanoma metastasized (spread) to her brain and her lung.

Teddi's announcement about her melanoma comes just a few days after she was able to return home from the hospital. She spent 16 days there following from her brain tumor removal surgery.
Since then, Teddi's attempted to get back in her regular routine of exercising. "Starting off slow, obviously, very emotional, obviously, watching your body change, it's so much medication from the brain tumors," she shared in an emotional video of her walking on a treadmill. "But just trying to remember how grateful I am that I can move my body again."
