Tee Higgins may have to move on from the Cincinnati Bengals this off-season as they face having to pay two receivers big money.
Both Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase are due contracts, but their skills at the position warrant them both being made one of the highest paid in the league.
It would be difficult for the Bengals to pay both of them, but one did have better production in 2024. Higgins missed five games and managed 911 yards.
Chase was electric and accumulated 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns. He’s the machine they need to reach the NFL playoffs in tandem with Joe Burrow.
Trey Hendrickson called Higgins a monster heading into free agency and said that he deserves the chance to operate as the main receiver for a team.
On the other hand, the Bengals resigning Chase is viewed as an ‘easy’ decision, so it looks like it will be a case of where and not maybe for Higgins’ potential departure.

Despite winning their last five games of the season, the Bengals still fell short of making the post-season with a 9-8 record.
Their defense struggled for large spells, and a bad run to start the year was something they couldn’t recover from.
