Jade Cline of Teen Mom fame has often spoken out about wanting to adopt a child.
Recently, the reality TV star shared a recent update with fans about the adoption process. This reflects an ongoing number of shares Jade has given fans over the year concerning the story.
The Teen Mom Star Recently Shared An Adoption Update With Fans On Social Media
Viewers first got to meet Jade Cline on Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant and Teen Mom 2. She and her boyfriend Sean Austin had their first child, Kloie Kenna Austin. Jade was 19 at the time of her daughter’s birth.
Jade and Sean eventually married in 2024. While Jade currently only has one daughter, she has expressed interest in having more children.
As noted by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Jade mentioned that she and Sean were already in the process of adopting a child. Reportedly, they are in the early stages of filling out the needed paperwork.
Notably, this isn’t the first time Jade has shown an interest in adopting a child. Back in 2021, she shared this desire during her Instagram Stories, noting it reflected her own childhood history.
At the time, Jade shared, “I think in a few years I would like to adopt. Since I was in foster care, I definitely think it would be best for me to do the foster-to-adopt program. So many children in my state are in foster care and are in need of adoption. I think I’m going to wait until Klo’s around five or six to adopt my second child.”
Notably, at the time, Kloie was only three years old. At the time, Jade shared she wanted to wait until her daughter was a little older. This suggests it could be all the more timely for her to start the adoption process.
Jade Had Also Hinted That More Than One Baby Could Be On The Way
Jade also previously described her interest in adopting a child through a post on X, formerly Twitter. At the time, she shared, “Really want to adopt my next child. I have so much love to offer and really want to give a child an amazing family and an amazing life. @ or dm me your adoption stories.”
While Jade remained strong in her desire to adopt a child, she also shared that she and Sean are still hoping to have another biological child on the TikTok Live.
Last year, Jade spoke with E! Online, revealing, “I got off birth control. I’ve been off birth control for, like, three weeks. I ran out. I’m just letting God, God.”
At the time, Jade also noted that she wanted to “try to have another baby before Kloie is too much older.” She continued, “I want them to be apart in age, but not super far apart.”
Speaking of her marriage, Jade noted, “I think this whole new year of our life is just a different perspective on our relationship and how we are as a couple and it’s fun. We’re not perfect, but we love each other and we have a good time and we support each other and we’re there for each other. And that’s all you can ever ask for.”
