TEEN Mom Jenelle Evans' son Jace, 14, is set to testify against his stepfather David Eason in his felony strangulation case.
A source close to the Teen Mom 2 alum exclusively revealed to The U.S. Sun that Jenelle's oldest son is expected to testify against David after his stepdad allegedly attacked him on September 28th, 2023.
The insider said that not only is the teen expected to testify, but he's downright excited to take the stand against the 35-year-old.
"Jace is adamant about going to testify. He can't wait to take the stand, he hates David," the insider said.
Conversations between the District Attorney's office and Jace have transpired, and they will be working with the teen to make sure he is fully prepared to take the stand when that time comes, which is expected to happen sometime this summer.

In the meantime, Jenelle is asking for a court to grant a civil restraining order against David for herself and her three children, Jace, Kaiser, 9, and Ensley, 7.
FELONY CHARGE
David is currently facing a felony battery by strangulation charge and a misdemeanor child abuse charge stemming from the alleged attack on the teen.
In January David was indicted on the charges from the fall incident.
"They found enough evidence to take his case out of district court, where misdemeanors are held, and bring it to superior," a court spokesperson said at the time.
"District court hears misdemeanors, traffic and other infractions, whereas felony cases are heard in superior," the clerk added at the time
ALLEGED ATTACK & CPS STEPS IN
The 35-year-old father-of-three is accused of assaulting Jenelle's eldest child, Jace, outside a neighbor's home in North Carolina.

According to court documents exclusively revealed by The U.S. Sun, David "willingly harmed" his stepson, and caused marks on his arm and neck.
Child Protective Services took custody of the teen in the immediate aftermath of the incident.
In February, in a shocking turn of events, CPS dismissed Jace's case and Jenelle resumed custody of the teen which left the MTV star in a predicament.
Her husband David has a no-contact order against him for Jace, and the teen was expected to return to Jenelle's home.
David moved out and began living on the couple's boat which is docked nearby.
Jenelle and David's relationship timeline
The tumultuous pair have had their fair share of falling outs
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September of 2015.
Jenelle got pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then she became pregnant again with her and David's daughter, Ensley, a few months later.
The pair got engaged in February 2017 and tied the knot that September.
A year after saying “I do,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside their home. She would later call the incident “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was "fine."
In around May 2019, David shot and killed their French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle's son, Kaiser, and David's daughter, Maryssa.
When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She ultimately dropped the case and went back to him.
In the following years, the couple sparked split rumors as the pair would often unfollow each other on social media and update their Facebook relationship statuses.
As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, on February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intent that the separation be permanent” and claimed that Eason had “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage.
Within a couple of weeks of CPS' decision to dismiss the case and with David living on the boat, Jenelle filed for separation from the 35-year-old.
JENELLE'S DIVORCE DEMANDS
Jenelle is asking for primary physical custody of her and David's daughter Ensely, 7, as well as for child support.
She is asking that the courts distribute their property "in the form of an unequal distribution of assets in the plaintiff's favor," presumably since was the family breadwinner.
She is also asking the court to rule for her to legally keep the marital home, on what the couple has termed "The Land."
In her filing, Jenelle said she is concerned about David's comments regarding the house.
"Defendant has made several statements that plaintiff cannot keep him from 'his' home," her complaint for separation said.
"Plaintiff is in need of the sole use enjoyment and possession of the property for the benefit of plaintiff and the minor children and hereby request this court to enter an order sequestering the property for the benefit of plaintiff and the minor children."
According to the clerk's office, David has yet to file his response to Jenelle's separation complaint.
