‘Teen Mom’ News Pile: Jenelle Evans Warns David Eason’s New Girlfriend About Him; Amber Portwood Gets Slammed Over Odd TikTok Singing & More

From giving out advice to new soulmates, to giving fans an earache, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the Teen Mom franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest Teen Mom: The Next ChapterTeen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.

Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…

Jenelle Evans Warns David Eason’s New Girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole About How He’ll Sink Her Career

“Those are just talkin’ words!”

Jenelle lashed out a David’s current girlfriend this week on X, but this time she offered David’s new soulmate some words of advice.

Kenleigh—who began dating David last year following his split from Jenelle— took to X this week to complain about a negative review left on her photography business’ Facebook page. Kenleigh stated that the “review” was posted by someone she had never worked with and that it was posted by someone just to inform her future customers that she is dating David, and that he has a history of dog shootin’ and custody losin’ and whatnot.

Although Kenleigh never claimed that it was Jenelle who wrote the review, Jenelle still jumped on social media soon after to declare that she did not write the review. She then insisted that David’s new squeeze is “obsessed” with her.

“Girl you’re OBSESSED with me,” Jenelle wrote. “I don’t have time to be writing fake reviews for your ‘business page.'”

“I mean, those spicy dumps aren’t gonna post themselves on OnlyFans, ya know?”

She then gave Kenleigh some insight into how being with David is basically career suicide.

Maybe if you weren’t dating my ex, that the world hates, it wouldn’t be happening. David ruined lots of opportunities for me too, you’ll learn that soon,” Jenelle wrote.

“I neva thought I’d say this but, Juh-nelle’s not wrong here!”

When Kenleigh denied ever accusing Jenelle of writing the review, Jenelle criticized her for replying to every tweet that Jenelle posted…before going on to reply to basically every tweet Kenleigh posted.

“You reply to every tweet about me,” Jenelle wrote. “You think I’m an idiot? I use to play the same games when I was in my 20s.”

Jenelle— who literally a month ago was replying to every post her ex “August Keen” made about her on social media— then reflected on her own time as David’s soulmate.

“How often do you look back and cringe like, ‘Damn I was hella sprung over this?!’ It’s crazy how we all saw it in real time & you took years to realize it.”

“Don’t remind me. So embarrassing!” Jenelle replied.

Amber Portwood Sings on TikTok Live; Gets to Rip to Shreds

We are all the dude on the right listening to this….

It’s safe to say that Amber sings about as well as she parents her daughter Leah.

The former(?) ‘Teen Mom’ star decided to sing for the masses during (yet another) TikTok Live session earlier this week and…it did not go well.

Amber, determined to prove that she truly is the ‘Teen Mom’ Songbird of Our Generation, used her time on the social media app to show off her vocals. Unfortunately (for Amber and/or our ears), she attempted to sing Celine Dion‘s powerful song “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” which requires a very strong vocal performance.

Amber had herself seated in front of a TV that was playing Celine’s music video for the song (and giving The Ashley major flashback vibes to waking up at 3 a.m. after falling asleep on the couch and seeing an infomercial on TV for the “Ultimate Love Songs” CD collection or something.)

Amber warbles through the first verse, with her voice doing more cracking than Butch on vacation. Her friend Mr. Hoodz cheers her, which makes Amber continue the nightmare fuel of a performance. She then comes to a part in the song that requires some big notes, so she sets herself back and lets it rip…our eardrums.

It’s giving that time Fergie majorly oversang the National Anthem and all the basketball players were trying not to snicker…

Amber gets to the final note and fails miserably, then pretends she was just clowning around.

A clip of Amber’s, um, “performance” made its way onto Reddit, where readers were perplexed by what they just heard. Others pointed out that Amber could be making much better use of her time than clocking literally dozens of hours a week on TikTok Live.

Leah’s reaction when this musical nightmare makes it to the phones of her classmates…

“This is such an odd hobby for an adult human,” one person commented.

“No really…like don’t you have to shop for groceries, or vacuum the house,” someone else wrote.

“This is what happens when no one is willing to be honest with you,” another person added.

“Imagine if she put this much effort into being a parent,” someone wrote.

For your listening “enjoyment,” The Ashley is including the clip of Amber’s vocal “performance” below. God speed.

Catelynn’s Mom April Answers Questions on TikTok Live About Ex Butch Baltierra, Catelynn & More

“I’m out here livin’ my best Butch-free life!”

Catelynn’s mom made several appearance on TikTok Live recently, but she did not go “Portwood” and cuss people out and scream over the Interwebs. Instead, she appeared on her son Nick‘s TikTok Lives to answer questions about her life today, her relationship with Catelynn and her grandkids, and even her feelings on her ex-husband Butch Baltierra.

As fans may remember, Catelynn’s relationship with April (as well as her little brother Nick) were very strained in 2023, when Cate and Nick engaged in plenty of social media back-and-forth jabs regarding the way Cate’s husband Tyler Baltierra treats her, April’s drinking and more. It appears that the family has made amends since then, though.

When a fan asked April how often she sees Catelynn’s kids, April revealed that she sees Nova, Vaeda and Rya “often” and that she can “have them any time I ask.”

Despite having her drinking, poor treatment of Catelynn (prom dress shopping anyone?) and the years she was swooning over Butch aired out on TV for all to see, April stated that she does not regret being on ‘Teen Mom.’

“I was in a Virginia Slim ciggie fog for like the first 30 years of my life. Gimme a break!”

In fact, she doesn’t even count her Natty Ice-soaked marriage to Butch as a mistake.

“No, I don’t regret marrying Butch,” she said on the TikTok Live.

“What can I say? Mulleted men really get my cooter tinglin’!”

While she doesn’t regret marrying Butch (and his sick salt-n-peppa mullet/rattail combo he was rocking back then), she didn’t have much of an update on where her former legally challenged lover is today.

“I have no clue,” she said of Butch’s whereabouts.

According to his social media, Butch is still living in Austin, Texas. He posted an updated pic of himself last month.

Jokes aside, this is probably the healthiest Butch has ever looked…

Briana DeJesus Says ‘Teen Mom’ Still Reveals the Struggles of Teen Parenthood

What’s more relatable than THIS?!

While many fans (both former and current) of ‘Teen Mom’ may argue that the MTV reality series has overstayed its welcome and essentially lost the plot, cast member Briana DeJesus insists that it’s still showing viewers an accurate portrayal of life as a teen parent, including all of the struggles that come with it.

In a new interview with the Associated Press, Briana– one of the eight moms currently featured on ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’– told the outlet that the long-running franchise shows cast members struggling “all the time,” which she believes is something that makes the series “so special.”

We personally feel that it’s moments like THIS that make the franchise so special, but whatever…

“ … Like, not everything is going to be beautiful,” Briana said. “We’re going to have a lot of ugly moments and I think that’s what the world needs to see.”

Briana went on to say that, unlike a curated social media post that may depict a “perfect life,” ‘Teen Mom’ presents an honest look at teen parenthood.

“But it’s an HONEST crap show!”

“It’s like, this is the real deal,” she said. “And if it happens to us, it could 100 percent happen to you.”

While Briana may feel that ‘Teen Mom’ is still giving viewers an honest look at the “struggles” of teen parenthood after all these years, not everyone agrees.

“Struggles?” a fan commented on X in response to Briana’s remarks. “Driving new cars and living in new builds is rough. Lol”

“It was special when it was first introduced but now everybody knows a teen mom,” another added.
