TEEN Mom regular Amber Portwood has insisted she’s done with the controversial reality show after a “disgusting” move by producers.
The 35-year-old, who first found fame on 16 and Pregnant back in the 2000s, has been a regular face on Teen Mom and its unfolding spin-offs including Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

However, in March, Amber declared on a series of TikTok Lives that she had spectacularly quit the show amid rumors that she had been fired.
Now, in a new live, Amber has opened up about why – and it has something to do with her daughter, Leah, who has gone no contact with her mom.
According to The Ashley Reality Round-Up, she told viewers on the Live, “What they did with my daughter, when they had her text me, that whole bullcrap situation they planned to get me to have a reaction? It was disgusting.”
In the season finale, Amber was seen receiving a text from her estranged mom, stating that the decision to cut communication with her was her own choice, and no one else’s.
With cameras there as the message came through, Amber came to believe that it was the producers’ choice when the message was sent, and she angrily turned to the camera, calling her daughter "disrespectful" for doing that to her.
In the new Live, Amber said this was the final straw for her when it came to the MTV show.
“I was done after that,” she said. “That was the last time I ever filmed with them.”
Further on in the livestream, Amber bizarrely bragged about her celebrity status, and claimed that she had frequently told the camera crews to get out of her house.
Amber has been a long-controversial figure on the Teen Mom franchise, having been jailed for domestic abuse – some of the incidents were caught on camera.
Despite this, MTV decided to continue filming with her.

Amber's explanation comes after The U.S. Sun reported Teen Mom: The Next Chapter is likely canceled.
In star Ryan Edwards divorce papers, he confirmed the show's cancellation.
The Motion to Modify Temporary Child Support read, "This Court entered an Order Setting Temporary Child Support on or about February 11, 2025.
"Said order was based upon Defendant's income at the time ($13,333 per month) which included his earnings from his appearances on a certain television series."
Ryan continued of his involvement on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, "Defendant is no longer earning income through that series, through no fault of his own."
Briana DeJesus' sister, Brittany, who appears on the series, also announced the show's cancellation in a now-deleted comment.
Brittany, said in a TikTok, "I feel emotionally unstable today. Everything is making me cry.
"Everything's making me upset. People on the internet are f****** mean," the MTV star added.
Brittany responded to a fan’s question about her financial situation and whether her sister, who is part of the main cast, would step in to support her.
Brittany responded, "I ain't broke no more because I ended up getting my money and my sister doesn't give me money, MTV gives me money LOL.
"But the show canceled, so bye, bye to those checks LMAO."
Teen Mom: The Next Chapter recently concluded its second season on MTV.
