‘Teen Mom’ Star Ends Up in Urgent Care After Embarrassing Accident

She ended up at urgent care to get stitches.

Teen Mom 2 alum Leah Messer shared an important public service announcement while also poking a bit of fun at herself after an injury. She shared the details on her Instagram page, and fans flooded her with support.

On July 3, Messer shared a photo on Instagram that showed her looking lovely. The Teen Mom alum had her hands on her thighs, and she bent her knees and smiled for the camera.

However, there was one big thing amiss. The middle finger on one of her hands was bandaged, and in the caption, Messer explained what happened.

"PSA: Make sure you watch your fingers around a hedge trimmer," Messer noted in her caption.

She continued, "Jesus Gawd Leah, a trip to the urgent care & returning home with 6 stitches sure will ruin a good day and your fresh manicure."

Teen Mom fans were quick to giggle over the "Jesus Gawd Leah" line, as it was a nod to what her former husband Corey Simms would say to her sometimes during the show. Simms is the biological father of Messer's twins, Aliannah Hope Simms and Aleeah Grace Simms.

One fan teasingly questioned, "Who else read 'Jesus Gawd Leah' in Corey's voice?"

Another wrote, "Love the humor in a crappy situation lol!! Feel better girl, it's summer!"

"I read JESUS GAWD LEAH and DIED gotta love it," added someone else.

A couple of Teen Mom fans admitted that they initially thought Messer's bandaged finger was a pregnancy test, which would have been an entirely different type of PSA and journey.

"Thank the Lord you didn't loose (sic) your finger. I fear that every time I use my hedge trimmers," another fan shared. Messer replied, "No for real."

Messer's post made it to the Teen Mom subreddit and prompted similar responses from fans.

One Reddit user shared, "I love how self aware she is and how she can laugh at her old self. I think she really has grown and changed so much and I'm rooting for her!"

"You know you've made it when you can meme yourself," another Redditor joked.

Messer later shared a photo showing her enjoying her Fourth of July with her three daughters, despite her injury. Her injured finger wasn't visible in that shot, as she had her arms wrapped behind her daughters. The ladies all appeared to be having a great holiday.
