Evans, who rose to fame on popular reality shows, “16 and Pregnant” and “Teen Mom 2,” has spent much of her life in the spotlight. And the spotlight has caught some tough moments in her life. Now it’s time for her to start a new chapter, but this chapter is all about doing things her own way. And healing is a big part.

“This divorce is my reset button,” Evans said, according to a press release sent to The Blast. “I’ve been through chaos and heartbreak, but now it’s all about peace, power, and living life on my own terms.”

To commemorate the new chapter and mindset, which includes her being single for the first time in a long time, Evans is throwing a party at one of NYC’s premier nightlife destinations - Spearmint Rhino. The party will include entertainers, celebrity guests, a meet and greet with Evans, and of course, saying goodbye to the old life and hello to the new one in a fun way.

For Evans, this party is more than just a celebration; it’s a new beginning.

“This matters a lot to me because I’m really closing a chapter to my previous life, I guess you can say, and opening a new one,” Evans told The Blast exclusively. “The old one was a bunch of fear, chaos, anxiety, and now it’s more peace, safety, and I’m really trying to create that environment for my kids, so it’s everyone just not walking on eggshells.”

Evans shared that her choice in venue was an easy one because it’s, “very sexy, glamorous, unfiltered, that’s kind of my personality.”

“That’s why I was going for it,” she continued. “I was like, everyone can have fun at a strip club.”

Evans feels that this time is important for her to be healing, and while she’s healing, she’s staying single. She said this is the first time in a long time that she’s single and she’s enjoying her time alone.

“I think it’s very important right now to reflect on what I went through in the past,” she said. “I was married for nine years which is crazy looking back thinking about it because it went super quick and I think focusing on me and my kids and just our mental health overall.”

Sharing Her Story In The Hopes Of Helping Others

When asked what she hopes other women take away from her story, Evans said she hopes that others can see that they can be strong enough to leave a “bad situation.”

“I hope that they can see that you can be strong enough and powerful enough to leave a bad situation that you’re in no matter if you have kids or you don’t have kids,” she explained. “Don’t put yourself through that misery and you know, break free and it’s better being alone. Loneliness could be hard sometimes, but I like it without a man in the house right now. Now I get my space, I get my own room, there's no sharing, so yeah you definitely could be powerful enough to leave like I did.”

If Evans was able to give her younger self any advice knowing what she knows now, she said she would tell herself that “being alone is okay.” She also said focusing on family first is important and know that everything will get better.

As far as having regrets, Evans said she doesn’t think she has any.

“Sharing my story, I know a lot of others can relate and a lot of other people went through the same or similar situation,” she told The Blast. “I know them looking at it, they don’t feel alone. And I think all the mistakes I went through in the past up to today has made me the person that I am. And I feel like I’m more strong and independent more than ever now. So I think leaving that toxic relationship with my ex-husband is just going to be life changing, really.”

Jenelle Evans Recently Shared News About Her Son Jace On TikTok

For fans of “Teen Mom,” they have watched Evans’ oldest son, Jace, growing up throughout the years. She recently shared some insight into his life and the tough situation they are currently going through. Jace recently moved to Florida to live with his father, and it’s been tough on Evans, but she knows it’s a good thing.

“It was very tough for me to send him there in the first place because you know as a parent, I’m like, I don’t know. As a mother, you think you can do it all, but sometimes you do need help and you need to ask for that help,” she shared. “And I think it’s a very important time for him and his dad to reconnect, now that I hear his dad has been sober from alcohol.”

In addition to Jace having his dad, he also has his grandmother and extended family, so everyone is coming together to help Jace through some rough times.

“I’m just glad that everyone’s on the same page and so far, he’s doing great,” Evans told The Blast.

One thing that is never easy to deal with is negativity on social media when sharing your life, and Evans is no stranger to that. While she has tons of support from her fans, she also gets some negativity thrown her way, but she said she’s learned how to not look at it.

“I try to engage with some of the more positive fans, but I don’t sit there and dwell on the comments all day because if you do, you’ll find yourself depressed in bed and not want to get out,” she explained. “So I try not to get in that hole and make sure to stay active - go to the gym, get my kids extracurricular activities so I’m busy with them and try to stay offline as much as I can.”

Relocating To Las Vegas

Evans calls Las Vegas home now and said the transition has been good for her and her kids.

“There’s a lot more to do, and they’ve made new friends,” she shared with The Blast. “We’ve been out hiking and out to the lake, so yeah, we’re venturing out and getting settled in.”

And with so much to do in Vegas, even for the kids, Evans and her children are enjoying exploring and having fun. Besides hiking and visiting Lake Mead, they have enjoyed time at AREA15 and various events. And as many locals will fully understand, she tries to stay off the Strip and enjoy all the other things to do in and around the city.

What Does The Future Hold For Jenelle Evans And Will Reality TV Be Part Of It?

Will we ever see Evans on another reality show? Never say never.

“I think reality TV, depending on which show it would be, I would be up for it,” she said. “‘Teen Mom’ I think is a done chapter, a closed chapter in my life. I’m just ready to do other things.”

Some other things Evans is looking forward to accomplishing - a cannabis line and possibly a podcast. She’s also doing some work behind the scenes, behind the camera, producing projects so you never know where she will pop up next.

Recently, Evans was able to rekindle a “Teen Mom” friendship with Farrah Abraham over tacos at Lucia Mexican Grill inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

The two former castmates enjoyed some authentic Mexican cuisines while burying the hatchet on any former struggles from their younger years.

“She told me she was going to be in town for some other things, and she was like, ‘Hey, you want to have dinner?’ and I’m like, “Sure.” I’ve been to some of her events in the past, so for me, it wasn’t like meeting a stranger for the first time,” she explained.

“I’m glad that we reconnected, and you know, she’s doing really great. She said that she’s been doing ketamine treatments that’s been helping her a lot, so yeah, she’s doing good.”
