Jenelle Evans, a Teen Mom reality star, split from David Eason last year around when he was reportedly investigated on suspicion of "sexual exploitation of a minor"
David Eason, who is currently ensnared in a nasty divorce battle with Teen Mom's Jenelle Evans, quietly faced a brief legal concern in June 2024.
According to court records obtained by The US Sun, he was issued a search warrant for suspicion of "sexual exploitation of a minor." The sheriff's office, according to the documents, was set to seize property from the home. They requested "that the court issue a warrant to search the person, place, vehicle and other items described in this application and to find and seize the property and person described in this application."
The warrant claimed they had reason to believe David was involved in "the commission of a criminal offense or contraband" and they opened an investigation into potential "first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor" and "second-degree exploitation of a minor." Ultimately, charges were not filed, despite the search warrant. It is unclear if the investigation was lucrative.
Jenelle previously made similar claims in November 2024 during their divorce disagreements, claiming she found materials regarding “sexual exploitation of a minor." The bombshell claim hit several months after filing for divorce in February of that year. In the divorce docs, she cited further concern about "excessive use of alcohol was burdensome [which allegedly] rendered plaintiff's life intolerable."

The reality star relocated out of their home with her three children and expressed concern about "the financial well-being of the minor children" since David was allegedly spending money that he did not earn. She asked for child support for their daughter, Ensley, while requesting primary physical custody.
She further alleged, "Plaintiff has been a faithful and dutiful spouse to the defendant and has stuck by the defendant's side through the criticism of millions of people across the world on social media, who voiced concern regarding the defendant's behaviors."

The Mirror contacted representatives for Jenelle Evans and David Eason for comment.
Jenelle is riddled with additional legal issues after reportedly calling 911 on her own son, Jace, claiming the 15-year-old was “smashing everything in the house," according to The Ashley. Jenelle reportedly claimed in the call, “There’s debris of a broken door everywhere! He picked up the cage — the dog cage— and f---ing threw it … down the steps.”
However, in the background Jace can be heard, saying “I’m not doing s---." By the time officers arrived, Jace already left the house and he wasn't able to be found. If he had been found, Jenelle pressed officers to place him on a 72-hour hold, but they declined to do so as he didn't threaten to hurt himself or anyone else. Neither Jace nor Jenelle faced legal actions or charges.
Jenelle's alleged call brought anger from the general public who thought she made a wrong move. Just days after the call, she posted a flashy picture on Instagram where she posed with a smile. In the caption, she wrote, "To sisterhood, love, and friendship, I love being single."
"Doing all this while your oldest is crying out for help," wrote one person. Another criticized, "Girl please. We all know as soon as a guy comes along and shows you some attention, you'll be moving to his state too!!! You can't survive without a man."
