Kailyn Lowry is shutting down any and all breakup rumors with one simple TikTok.
The former Teen Mom star, 33, took to social media on Sunday, April 6, to post a video with fiancé Elijah Scott that proved they are still very much still together.
“Wrapping up our Sunday reading about ourselves 🤍,” Lowry wrote via TikTok as the couple stared blankly at the camera. “When fake news hits the group chat.”
When one follower commented, “We are all so confused 😅,” Lowry responded in agreement. “So are we,” she added.
Over the weekend, a report surfaced claiming Lowry and Scott — who share kids Rio, 2, and 16-month-old twins Verse and Valley — had split and are currently not together.
When one user praised the couple’s reaction on TikTok to “the drama everyone’s trying to create,” Lowry replied, “The s*** we’ve been reading is wild.”
Although Lowry is trying to keep her latest relationship out of the public eye, she confirmed in August 2024 that she was in fact engaged.
In an episode of her “Coffee Convos” podcast with cohost Lindsie Chrisley, Lowry explained that she didn’t formally announce her engagement for a while because Scott would always ask her to marry him, but she never “took him seriously” since he never popped the question with a ring.
“I was just like, ‘We’ll play this by ear. I’ll let you know. If you have a ring one day, we’ll reevaluate,’” Lowry explained. “And then one day, he just showed up with a ring.”
Instead of an elaborate proposal, Lowry said Scott kept it simple by asking the important question at their home.
“He came into the bathroom one day while I was getting ready, and he gave me the ring,” she recalled. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, thank you!’”
While Lowry said she is happy to have a partner to experience life with, she’s also grateful to have found a man who embraces her other children like they are his own.
Lowry shares son Isaac, 15, with ex Jo Rivera, son Lincoln, 11, with Javi Marroquin and sons Lux, 7, and Creed, 4, with ex Chris Lopez.
“He’s so cool, calm and collected at all times. I’ve never experienced that in my entire life,” Lowry exclusively told Us in August 2024. “He’s an angel on this earth, and I don’t know what I did to deserve him. [He’s like], ‘Nothing is too big of a problem, we’re gonna figure it out.’ And that’s really different for me.”
