Teresa Giudice addressed rumors of Gia Giudice being fired from Next Gen NYC and Andy Cohen‘s reaction to the claims on the latest episode of her podcast.

As she also admitted to forgetting scenes filmed for Real Housewives of New Jersey and opened up about why she doesn’t like filming at her home, Teresa, 53, spoke of the suggestion that Gia, 24, had been booted from Next Gen NYC and said it was “nice” of Andy, 57, to intervene in the way he did.

“[Next Gen NYC is] doing really good. Listen, you can’t believe everything that you see out there, and I think Andy Cohen put those rumors to bed … That was nice of him,” Teresa noted on the July 2 episode of Turning the Tables with Teresa Giudice.

Then, after her co-host pointed out that Andy had said on Watch What Happens Live that the spinoff was likely greenlit due to the Real Housewives‘ children’s involvement, Teresa agreed, “That’s why it started.”

“This whole thing started with the housewives, and Gia’s been on TV since she was seven or eight. She’s been on TV for so long,” she noted.

According to Teresa, Gia started filming at seven, but RHONJ didn’t begin airing until 2009, when she was eight.

Looking back at her family’s many years on television, Teresa admitted that she’s forgotten a lot, signaling a recent moment in which Kim DePaola, 64, asked her about a scene from season one.

“I’m like, ‘Girl, I don’t remember.’ And [Jacqueline Laurita] was in the scene too. I said, ‘Ask Jacqueline. Jacqueline remembers everything.’ It was about Danielle Staub, and I’m like, ‘I don’t remember,'” Teresa shared.

Teresa even finds it hard to recall moments within seasons.

“When we do our [confessionals], sometimes they take a while before we actually film. So it happens, but sometimes we do our [confessionals], we do them months later,” she explained. “Sometimes I have to ask, ‘Can you please refresh my memory?’ Because it was like, a while ago. [And] they just tell you, and then you basically have to try and remember.”

“It’s just a lot of prepping,” she added.

Because there is so much that goes into production on scenes, Teresa doesn’t love to film at her house.

“I don’t like cameras in my house. It’s a lot of people in the house. I just want my family in my house,” she reasoned. “It’s just a lot, with the whole cleanliness thing. They do take off their shoes, but still, and then putting the tape all over the place  — I still have to touch up some places in my house. When they ripped off the tape, they ripped off our paint. So it’s annoying.”

Regarding how many staff members come to her home when filming is happening, Teresa said, “There’s a lot,” especially during parties.

“You have to make sure you get all the people that are on the show … If you’re only filming with two people, then there’s two cameras, and then there’s a producer. There’s other people writing down stuff that you’re saying. There’s always people,” she revealed.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on pause ahead of season 15.
