Teresa Giudice Calls Out a Crew Member in Fourth Wall-Breaking Moment on Next Gen NYC

How to Watch

Watch Next Gen NYC on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock.
Worlds collide when some of the cast member's moms arrive on Next Gen NYC — and viewers aren't the only ones who will spot some familiar faces during the epic Real Housewives crossover moment.

In the above preview clip for Next Gen NYC Episode 2 (set to air June 10), The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's Meredith Marks join their children Gia Giudice and Brooks Marks for dinner.

Following a comical gaffe in which Teresa confuses taro root tacos for terrible tacos, Teresa also struggles to read the restaurant menu's small font. Her eyesight is proven to be just fine, however, when she spots a certain crew member manning the camera.

Waving to the man (and breaking the fourth wall in the process), Teresa exclaims, "Hi!" before explaining to the others, "He's on my show [RHONJ]."

Inside Teresa Giudice and Meredith Marks' friendship seen on Next Gen NYC
In the video above, Brooks and Gia open up about the bond between their mothers.

"Our moms get along so well," Brooks says in a joint confessional with Gia. "They might get along the best out of all of us."

He goes on to explain that he and Meredith "have been friends with Teresa and Gia for the past three years."

In the sneak peek, Meredith even invites the mother-daughter duo to Salt Lake City for some winter skiing. When Teresa expresses her apprehension about hitting the slopes, the jewelry designer offers "après-ski" activities as an alternative.

How Gia Giudice helps Brooks Marks navigate fame while "having a mom as a Housewife"
Elsewhere in the clip, Brooks reveals that he looked to Gia for support and advice after RHOSLC premiered in November 2020: "Gia was my walking stick for navigating what it’s like having a mom as a Housewife."

As for what Brooks sought guidance on specifically, Gia chimes in, "Brooks asked, 'How do you deal with the backlash?'"

Her tongue-in-cheek advice? "I literally ignore it," she says. "When I see a hate comment, I don't even read it; I just delete them. I don't block them. That's gonna lower my following count."

Back in the trendy Manhattan eatery, the two also debrief their moms on recent Next Gen NYC drama involving Brooks' friend Charlie Zakkour being "disrespectful" about taking his sister, Chloe Marks, on a date. "Basically, Gia explained to him it rubs me the wrong way," Brooks tells Meredith and Teresa. "And then, he was, like, saying Gia's my mouthpiece."

When Brooks is unsure how to respond to a Next Gen NYC producer questioning if Gia really is his "mouthpiece," the RHONJ daughter steps in with some more counsel: "You could just be like, 'I wouldn't say Gia's my mouthpiece, but she chimes in when needed.'"

After beginning to recite Gia's suggested line, Brooks stops mid-sentence and jokes, "Now you guys are going to edit this together so I'm literally repeating what she just told me to say."
