Teresa Giudice hinted at how long Next Gen NYC filmed, claimed her daughter Gia Giudice threw a party at Teresa’s mansion while she was “out of town,” and revealed which co-stars Gia is “really good friends with.”

The show originally was titled Making It in Manhattan before it changed to Next Gen NYC. Gia, who was featured often on Real Housewives of New Jersey, joined the cast with Kandi Burruss’ daughter RileyMeredith Marks’ son Brooks, and Kim Zolciak’s daughter Ariana, along with several young stars who are new to Bravo. Gia’s boyfriend, Christian, also filmed in some capacity.

On her Turning The Tables podcast, Teresa revealed that Next Gen NYC filmed nearly the same amount of time as a typical season of RHONJ.

She also addressed a clip in the trailer of a castmate “jumping in the pool.”

“That was my [at] my [house],” Teresa explained. “Gia had a party here. When she had a party here, I was out of town … That’s why I [didn’t film for it].”

“I’m excited for all the kids. They’re [actually] not kids, they’re adults,” said Teresa, who shared that Gia is “really good friends with” Brooks and Ariana, and she “knows” Riley.

Teresa shared that she “love[s]” the new name, Next Gen NYC.

In June 2024, a source told fan account @queensofbravo on Instagram that castmates were filming a scene with Meredith.

“Brooks and Gia and Kim’s daughter [were] filming with Meredith. Something happened at the table and they all walked away together and Gia was gonna [FaceTime] her mom,” said the source.

Around the same time, a press release claimed the show “follows a tight-knit group of friends navigating the trials and triumphs of young adulthood. While some hail from the spotlight of well-known families, others have created a legacy of their own, but they all are looking to thrive in the city that never sleeps. Together they will challenge societal norms, redefine success, juggle personal and romantic relationships, and lean on each other for support in order to turn their skyline-high aspirations into reality.”
