The Atlanta Falcons have a UDFA who has already made a bigger name for himself than many established veteran players

The Atlanta Falcons kicked off their rookie minicamp on Friday, featuring not only their 2025 NFL Draft picks, but also their undrafted free agent signings and tryout invitees. 

Among those players will be cornerback Cobee Bryant, who signed with the Falcons after shockingly going undrafted. Bryant was ranked by many experts as a top 150 player, and was projected to be selected on Day 3.

“Crazy if you think 26 CB’s are better than me,” Bryant had to say after going undrafted. 

He now has the opportunity to make all other 31 NFL teams regret passing on him. While speaking to the media on Friday, coach Raheem Morris said that he plans to get his rookies more involved this season, and shouted out Bryant specifically.

"Make no mistake about it, we're going to have some real intentionality about playing our rookies this year," Morris said. "Getting those guys on the grass and giving them an opportunity to play a significant amount of football for us. Cobee is like the most famous undrafted player I've ever been around. When you go back and watch the tape, you're not shocked that he's well known."

Bryant finished second all-time in interceptions (13) for the Kansas Jayhawks during his four-year collegiate career. He was also named First-Team All-Big 12 in each of his last three seasons. Bryant is a physical CB who can play on the outside or in the slot. 

According to Next Gen Stats, Bryant had the fifth-highest production score among all CBs at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. His 128 career total tackles at KU earned him the third-highest run defense grade among all CBs from Pro Football Focus. A to Z Sports draft analyst Ryan Roberts pegged Bryant as one of his favorite prospects in this year's draft class.
