Luna is capable of anything and will prove it when she goes after a young child.
It’s clear that Luna is fixating on her half-brother and intends to make Hayes part of her next scheme.
Luna has a couple of great reasons to use Hayes to her advantage, so let’s talk about those for a moment.
For starters, Luna wants to give Steffy a taste of her own medicine and make her see what it’s like when a parent is kept from a child.
In Luna’s mind, Steffy is still the one turning John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) against her.
Since Luna blames Steffy for her lack of a relationship with Finn, she wants to block Steffy from Hayes and show her how it feels.
Of course, Luna also knows how much Steffy loves her little boy, so she no doubt views Hayes as an excellent way to control her.
Hayes may become the bait for Luna’s trap as B&B’s kidnapping drama plays out.
After Luna presumably moves forward with this Hayes snatching, she may watch from afar while Steffy panics.
Luna might make Steffy squirm a bit before finally calling her up and confirming she’s got Hayes.
That’s when Steffy may show off her bravery and say those seven words we hinted at: “I’ll do ANYTHING for Hayes’ safe return.”
Steffy knows she’s Luna’s real enemy, so she may promise Luna can do whatever she wants to her if Hayes goes home in one piece.
As a result, Luna might order Steffy to come to a specific location without telling Finn or anyone else.
Hayes may be left somewhere safe – perhaps in Remy Pryce’s (Christian Weissmann) care – until Luna’s demands are met.
Meanwhile, Steffy could face Luna alone for the showdown of the century!
That could set the stage for Finn, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) or even Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) to arrive for a dramatic rescue.
