The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Thursday, April 24, reveals that Taylor Hayes’ (Rebecca Budig) accident wrecked Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) top-secret plan for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
As everyone geared up for the Forrester fashion show, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) greeted Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) along with Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.
Markell Washington was also a VIP guest, so Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) was impressed over the social media influencer’s presence at the event.
Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) took a moment to flirt with Electra in the midst of all the fun.
Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) was also on hand to promote the jewelry line while Daphne Rose (Murielle Rose) showed off Forrester’s new perfume offerings.
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) praised Daphne over the collection, so she made another attempt to pull him in her direction romantically.
As for Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) on Thursday’s B&B episode, they kept talking about a surprise for Ridge that he had no clue about.
It became obvious that Brooke would be the one wearing the epic showstopper.
Eric made predictions about Ridge being surprised and obviously hoped to facilitate their reunion.
Ridge invited Taylor to come be part of the festivities, but Brooke wasn’t happy about her presence backstage.
A couple of incidents proved that Taylor was in the way, so Brooke thought she should join the guests out front.
Taylor clashed with Brooke, who eventually headed to a dressing room and got some help preparing for her shining moment.
As Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) pitched in, some disparaging comments about Taylor were made.
Eric popped up to basically clarify that he wasn’t trying to take down Taylor; he just thought Ridge and Brooke belonged together.
Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) made it clear that he was on top of security when it came to the couture dresses, which is something that came into play for plot purposes later.
Taylor ultimately confronted Brooke alone in the dressing room and shut the door to stop Brooke from walking out their confrontation.
The door locked from the inside due to the extra security measures, so Brooke flipped out over Taylor’s blunder.
Ridge made a speech to kick off the fashion show and sang Carter’s praises before the models hit the runway.
When it was time for the showstopper, Brooke was stuck backstage with Taylor – and no one could hear Brooke banging and seeking help!
