The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Wednesday, May 28, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) reacted to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) surprise engagement. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) had a chance to react as well, so here’s how Wednesday’s B&B episode went down.
At the loft, Hope and Carter enjoyed their morning after celebrating in bed the night before.
Carter and Hope kept the celebration going over breakfast as they agreed they wouldn’t let anything get in the way of their happiness.
Hope knew Brooke would be ecstatic over her decision to marry Carter.
As for Steffy and Ridge, Hope didn’t care how they felt since she was ready to make this commitment.
Once Hope and Carter arrived at the office, they hinted about some news they wanted to share.
After plenty of buildup, Hope finally showed off her engagement ring and confirmed that she’d accepted Carter’s unexpected proposal.
Brooke was over the moon just like Hope expected, but the look on Ridge’s face was definitely one of disapproval.
Steffy didn’t look thrilled either, but she managed to put on a smile and show her support – especially since she knew this is what Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) wanted.
The one thing everyone could agree on was that Carter gave Hope an amazing engagement ring.
Ridge threw some shade over the takeover, but he indicated that they were all trying to move past what happened.
Since Ridge wanted Carter to be happy, Carter made it clear that he indeed was and called Hope his home.
Carter gushed over family plans and hinted about maybe having a little one with Hope at some point.
After Carter insisted Hope was the only woman for him and vowed to always cherish her, Hope made promises of her own and looked forward to their wedding.
Next on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) looked at pics of Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) online and sent him a text about being at Il Giardino.
Luna also texted that she wanted to be alone with Will and smiled over her latest move.
Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) came along to warn Luna about the dangers of fantasies and worried since her granddaughter refused to listen to all the rejections.
It left Sheila wondering if something worse was going on with Luna.
Sheila pushed Luna to respect John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) wishes to stay away and pointed out that she was fixating on Will despite the fact that he was taken.
Luna didn’t know what Will saw in someone like Electra and was holding out hope for her own romantic chance with him.
Sheila’s disloyal attitude was clearly becoming an annoyance for Luna.
In the Forrester design office, Will saw Luna’s text and gave Electra updates on it. Since Luna had been persistent about trying to communicate with him, Will offered to block her.
However, Electra urged Will not to since it was better to know what Luna was thinking.
After Will headed off to a meeting, Electra decided that if Luna wanted her boyfriend, she should say it to her face!
Electra wound up at Il Giardino, where she put Luna on notice. Once Electra said Luna creeped Will out, she warned Luna to stay away from him.
Luna wasn’t scared of Electra and wondered what her rival would do if she didn’t follow orders.
Electra threw Luna’s past crimes in her face, but Luna offered a reminder that she’d been pardoned.
If Luna was so scary, she questioned why Electra was there provoking her.
Electra insisted that Will wouldn’t touch Luna with a 10-foot pole and once again pushed her to keep her distance.
Luna grew increasingly angry and asked “who the hell” Electra thought she was.
After Luna insisted she was in charge here, she declared that Electra would be sorry if she threatened her again!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Luna will spin out in a big way soon, so stay tuned.
