The Falcons using Bijan Robinson more like Christian McCaffrey should be a relief to all fantasy managers

The Atlanta Falcons have a very promising plan to unleash running back Bijan Robinson on the rest of the NFL this fall like another league great.

Speaking with Atlanta media this week, Robinson and Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson both specifically mentioned elite San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey as the comparison point for how Robinson will be used this season.

If you’re a fantasy manager with eyes on Robinson as your top pick this year (or a Falcons fan eager to finally see the running back utilized in such a savvy way), this is exactly what you want to have happen.

“Bijan’s such a talented player,” Robinson told Fox 5 Atlanta. “He’s gonna play running back, first and foremost, and then any way we can find creative ways to give him the ball like the Niners do with Christian McCaffrey is exactly right.”

Robinson totaled 1,463 total offensive yards last season on the ground and through the air, and it felt like he barely scratched the surface of his potential during his rookie campaign.

Using him like the 49ers use McCaffrey could skyrocket Robinson into his own stratosphere of superstar with just how talented he is on the field. It could also make him one of the dynamite fantasy players this fall.
