Alexis stops by the Quartermaine mansion to see Monica, but Jason lets her know that she’s not having visitors today. Alexis says this is important, and Monica may be the only one who can help her.
Alexis Tries to Stop Drew
Alexis explains that Drew is moving to DC and taking Scout with him. Taking Scout from her family isn’t fair to Scout or Sam’s memory, and Drew only cares about what he wants and needs.
Alexis wanted to speak to Monica, as her opinion of Drew is the only one, next to Willow’s, that matters to him. She pleads with Jason to talk to Monica and ask her to keep Drew from moving to DC, for Scout and Sam.
Drew Has Boundary Issues
Drew barges into the staff lounge at GH to beg Liz to tell him how Willow is doing. Liz informs him that she’s doing her best to put her life back together, and she needs time and space from him to heal. Drew won’t leave her alone when the world is against her and she’s lost everything. Liz insists Willow isn’t alone and hasn’t lost everything.
Drew rants about Curtis blowing up his life with Willow, which Liz says was Curtis only doing what he thought was best for Willow. Drew asks Liz if she thinks Willow is better off now. Liz only knows she’s making decisions based on the truth now, and the best thing he can do is to give her the time and space she asked for. Drew hates what is happening, but he’d hate it more if Willow didn’t have Liz right now.
Too Close For Stella?
At the nurses’ station, Isaiah, having just finished a ten-hour surgery, is relieved to see Portia is still in the building. She is happy to report she’s not leaving, and things between her and Curtis are back on track.
Portia hopes Isaiah is making a life for himself outside of this hospital. He explains that most of his time is spent fixing up the cabin he was given by Lucky. He decides to head for a walk in the park for some fresh air before heading home.
After Isaiah leaves, Portia turns around and sees Stella with a concerned look on her face. Stella asks how close she and Dr. Gannon are. Portia explains that he is a colleague and a friend, but Stella is concerned that their friendship could be perceived as professional impropriety. Portia insists she has clear boundaries with everyone who works under her.
Portia knows Stella is only looking out for her. She tells her that she and Curtis are working on their relationship, and the issue between them has nothing to do with Dr. Gannon.
Friends Again, or Something More?
Jordan and Curtis cross paths while jogging in the park and realize they can’t keep avoiding each other. Curtis tells her that he and Portia have talked it out and are going to work to fix their marriage, and he feels they owe it to her.
Curtis says she put a stop to them falling back into the nostalgia of what they both shared, but she points out he agreed to take a step back, too. Jordan thinks now that everything is settled, perhaps they can continue their friendship. Curtis asks how her situation with Sidwell is. She admits she’s never been better.
Jordan explains she finds the job challenging, she’s making more money than ever, and she’s enjoying the benefits while still working to take Sidwell down. She also just helped solidify her cover with him by putting money down on a luxurious apartment that is befitting a rich COO.
Can Dante, Lulu and Obrecht Call a Truce?
Dante and Lulu arrive at Laura’s office. They assume Laura, who is in another meeting, wants to see them about Rocco.
Laura finally arrives, having just put Ezra in his place during a city council meeting. She tells them, for Rocco’s sake, she wants them to make peace with Obrecht.
Lulu wants Rocco nowhere near that woman, but Laura says Rocco needs confirmation that the woman who gave birth to him wasn’t a horrible person. Lulu insists she was, but Laura says Britt was more than just one thing.
Laura says that if she forbids Rocco from speaking to Obrecht, he will go behind their backs to see her. Dante tells Lulu that Laura is right. Laura suggests they find a safe way for Rocco to meet with Obrecht and find out what he needs. Lulu asks her mom to arrange a meeting for them with Obrecht.
Obrecht soon arrives, and they all take seats in Laura’s office. Obrecht insists her only interest is Rocco’s welfare. She emphasizes that Rocco sought her out, though she admits she welcomed the opportunity to reconnect with him. However, she always left it up to Rocco to decide her place in his life.
Dante explains Rocco is fifteen, so until he’s an adult, his parents will decide what part she has in their son’s life. Lulu explains they were thinking Obrecht could come to her house to speak with Rocco, with the two of them present. Obrecht sees this as a supervised meeting and asks if she has to submit a transcript of what she intends to say first. Lulu explains that there must be safeguards in place.
Obrecht goes off, as she only wants what Laura has had time to do, and that’s build a relationship with Rocco. Lulu points out that Rocco has two grandmothers, and Obrecht is not one of them. Obrecht argues Britta carried Rocco, so it’s her blood in his veins. Some would say not only is she his grandmother, but Britta is as much Rocco’s mother as Lulu is.
Anna Presses Her Luck
At the Metro Court, Carly and Jack kiss, and she suggests a weekend of wine tasting at the Finger Lakes. Anna interrupts and says she and Carly have unfinished business. Carly snaps at her for ghosting her the other night and asks what she wants now.
Jack looks worried, but Anna only says Lucas came to the PCPD to complain that Sonny abducted Marco, and asks if she has any information on this. Carly says she’s not doing this and storms off to the kitchen to deal with the chef.
Jack asks Anna what the hell that was about. Anna wanted to see how he’d react to the possibility that she’d tell Carly about his recruiting her daughter. He says doing so would be treason. Anna knows her hands are tied, but if anything happens to Joss, then she will tell Carly the truth. Anna storms off.
Pascal Gets Handsy With Britt
At The Five Poppies, Pascal finds Britt relaxing on a lounge chair out on deck. He tells her that she should be in the lab as “he” is expecting results. Britt says to tell “him” that she’s on strike.
Britt informs Pascal that the air circulation in the lab isn’t working to her liking, and until it’s repaired, she won’t be working.
When Pascal later reports the circulation is fixed, Britt says he’s too late and she’s had too many cocktails and needs a nap. Pascal gets aggressive, grabs her, and assures her there are ways to sober her up.
In the Show’s Final Moments
At the Quartermaines’ mansion, Jason tells Alexis that Monica says she’ll try to get through to Drew. Alexis hopes this works.
At the hospital, Portia tells Stella that she and Curtis have been struggling, but they are going to fight for their marriage. They embrace, which Drew spots from afar. He pulls out his phone and calls someone to open an insurance fraud investigation. What did Poor Stella do to him? Well, there goes the truce!
In the park, Jordan points out her new building in the skyline to Curtis and says that she’ll have a full view of the harbor. Curtis says it will be just like her place in Baltimore. As they talk, Isaiah arrives and spots them together looking cozy.
In Laura’s office, Dante tells Obrecht they aren’t letting her near Rocco, and she’s deranged. He knows who she is, remembers her playing games with his mind, and vows to find every arrest warrant for her and lock her up unless she skips town immediately. Channeling a bit of the evil Dr. O, she asks how he’ll explain to Rocco that he locked up the only person with the answers he seeks.
At the Metro Court, Carly brings wine out to Brennan as a preview for the weekend. As they toast, Brennan confesses that he hasn’t been honest with her.
At the Five Poppies, Britt tells Pascal that “he” wouldn’t like him treating her this way. Suddenly, Joss and Vaughn arrive. Britt’s back is to them, and Vaughn asks Pascal if this is where they check in.
Finally, Anna arrives at the Q’s mansion and tells Jason that he needs to find Britt as soon as he can.
