Ahead of their premiere, the ladies of 'RHONY' share their big dos and don'ts for autumn in the Big Apple.
The ladies of RHONY are ready for fall. That's right, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, Erin Lichy, Ubah Hassan, Sai De Silva and yes, even Jenna Lyons are back for their sophomore year as Real Housewives. We got a chance to catch up with some of the ladies at the official Season 15 premiere party in New York City, where the reality stars opened up about their favorite aspects of fall in the Big Apple.
"I feel like there is such a buzz around New York come September," Taank gushed on the red carpet. "The minute you come back it just feels so energized." Her favorite thing to do in Autumn? Shop, of course.
"All of the new clothes are out, the new seasons are out so I'll get my full wardrobe," she explained. "It's the best thing to do." One place you won't see Taank or her family? The pumpkin patch.
"The one thing I hate are those bloody pumpkin patches," she told us. "I cannot stand. And then you have all of those images of people with their kids at the pumpkin patch, it drives me crazy." She added that she just "buys a pumpkin from Trader Joes," which is more than enough for her children.
New housewife Racquel Chevremont loves sees autumn as a perfect time to getaway from the city. "I like to go out to Long Island or upstate and just see the foliage, I mean the scenery, right? The landscape is stunning in New York in the fall." In the city itself, she just loves "walking around" and enjoying the crisp air before it gets "too cold."
Rebecca Minkoff, who joins as a Friend Of this season, recommends a New York City classic: a picnic in Central Park. "I think it's the most beautiful place in the world, and so my family, and I go there often. It's not so hot, you're not sweating to death."
Ubah also recommends the one and only Central Park on a perfect fall day. "You get a little warm jacket, you go to Sant Ambroeus, get some hot chocolate and go for a walk!"
With all of the Season 14 ladies returning alongside newbies Chevremont and Minkoff, all eyes are on these ladies ahead of their highly anticipated new season on Bravo.
