'The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Brit Eady Never Wanted To Make Peace With Kenya Moore

The Season 16 shakeup of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta cast caused a huge stir among audiences who wondered how newbies Angela OakleyBrit Eady and Kelli Ferrell would fare alongside show favorites like Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore. Before the show could even air a single episode, reports leaked of Kenya clashing with Brit so badly that she ended up suspended from the series. Problems between the pair were noticeable from their first interactions, and while Kenya definitely played a part- Brit is far from innocent regarding their escalating issues!

It all started in the premiere episode when Kenya asked Brit if she was married or engaged because she wasn't wearing a wedding band. Some people might not even take that question as a slight, but Brit proceeded to repeat the incident over and over again to her immediate circle, while digging at Kenya's divorce. "Worry about your divorce, why are you worried if I got a wedding band on?" Eady wondered out loud.

Brit Made a Mountain Out Of a Molehill

Was it really a big deal that Kenya questioned whether Brit was married or engaged? Only because Brit made it one. While Shamea and Angela had real drama spark between them through the first three episodes due to their allegiances to Porsha and Drew, it became painfully obvious that Brit didn't have much of a plotline for the show. While a number of the wives were grappling with divorces (Porsha, Drew, Cynthia, Kenya, Kelli), motherhood journeys (Shamea, Porsha, Angela, Drew, Kelli), and career changes (Drew, Shamea, Kelli, Porsha) - Brit was left explaining her colorful past as a "bad b*tch" video vixen, who dated rappers, actors and ballers. Her marriage to Mike seemed to mostly reflect him tolerating her musings over plans to get pregnant, build her dream house, and have a wedding ceremony. If anything, Kenya's comments became something that Brit could utilize in her conversations as an "issue" she was facing.

In her conversations with her friend Kelli and her sister-in-law, Brit continued to bring up Kenya's name and remark about her being "mean" or a "hater". Meanwhile, there was absolutely ZERO corresponding footage of Kenya badmouthing Brit. In fact, when Kenya did come onscreen, she was asking Porsha and Drew questions that could have been construed much more negatively -- but they weren't. Instead, the women just addressed Kenya's questions and kept it pushing, like Brit should have. If anything, Kenya pushed Drew even harder because she told her she was wrong for working with Dennis.

Brit Escalated Her Issues With Kenya At Angela's Black Party

As the drama between Kenya and Brit continued to brew on RHOA, the Sunday 3/31 episode showed that Eady isn’t an innocent party. With all the ladies in attendance at her party, Angela introduced a dangerous game at her event that called for the women to anonymously submit questions for each other to answer. When Brit read Kenya multiple questions about her behavior toward her, Kenya confirmed that she could speak nicely to Brit, and proceeded to do so, even choosing not to engage in the argument when Brit began to curse at her at the table. Brit’s antagonism toward Kenya actually only got worse, as Kenya remained calm. Brit even included a notable dig about Kenya’s failed marriage to Marc Daley -- saying, ‘Let me call my husband who cares about me.’

Brit also threatened Moore with violence. Everyone, from audience members to Moore herself, heard Eady say, “I got pistols.”

Moore stayed calm through the exchange, and nearly every other housewife noted that it was Brit who was doing too much.

That said, Kenya wasn’t exactly innocent– she told Shamea and Porsha to let the newcomer come at her so she could be rid of her. Perhaps that's why she ends up bringing explicit photos of Eady to her event. Maybe it's part of Kenya's plan to provoke Brit to act on the violent threats she’s made? It's hard to tell just yet, but we'll be watching the upcoming episode through a new lens after seeing Brit act up.

Kenya has never been easy on RHOA newcomers and her pettiness will hit an all-time peak this season when she shares explicit photos of Eady on an upcoming episode. However, Brit’s behavior at Angela’s event reveals she wasn’t fighting clean either. While both parties appear to be wrong in this scenario, Brit isn’t as innocent as early reports would have led audiences to believe. Nobody likes a bully, but on Sunday’s episode, Brit was no victim - instead, she was the aggressor.
