Porsha has had what some may call a fascinating run on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She's been a part of some horrible incidents, and she's also had some truly heartbreaking moments exposed for all to see. She's been kicked when she's down. But while some believed that she might learn from these valleys in her life, it's given her a thick skin—a thick skin that has allowed her to learn the ways of manipulation from the perceived villain of Atlanta.
Porsha's Previous Romantic Relationships Is Hurting Her Return
Upon being cast in Season 16, viewers assumed that Porsha would finally be able to share a beautiful marriage to Simon Guobadia with the world. But soon before the cameras began to role, they engaged in a very public separation that truly affected her ability to truly present herself in her return engagement. Then, pair that with some shady business going on with her ex-partner and baby daddy Dennis McKinley and co-star Drew Sidora, Porsha's back has been pushed up against the wall.
Not even Shamea Morton Mwagi, her beyond-loyal best friend, was spared, despite her willingness to take bullets for her friend. Even though Porsha has put Shamea in precarious positions, it is through manipulation. Whether Shamea agrees with everything, she's been forced to follow along to keep Porsha happy. Shamea, truly the kindest soul until her buttons are pushed, knows she can't kick Porsha when she's done. But at some point she has to talk some sense into Porsha to save her from herself, right?
Has Porsha Learned Everything From Phaedra Parks?
When she separated from Apollo Nida, the storyline became Phaedra's manipulation of the story. While Apollo was very much prevented from sharing anything due to his legal situation, Phaedra made it her mission to not only prevent him from seeing a camera, but essentially dictated who he could and could not interact with. Phaedra's perceived betrayal at the hands of Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker pushed the dominoes to her ultimate downfall on the series. And now, Porsha is playing the same game with Dennis and Drew.
Drew Sidora is by no means innocent in the situation. While Drew and Porsha have very different timelines of events about how Drew's music collaboration went down and when and if they were supposed to chat, Drew did not need to work with Dennis on new music. Drew, there are hundreds of music producers. Why pick your costar's baby daddy?! But how Porsha is belittling Drew is unfair. She is hurt, and hurt people hurt others. Drew is also going through a terrible separation, they should be leaning on one another. Instead, Porsha is placing a scarlet letter on Drew, attempting to paint her as the devil. It's not working. It's ending up endearing certain people to her.
