Bravo Fan Fest attendees were treated to a first look at The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16.
The Bravo reality series will return in early 2025, and a major storyline revolves around returning star Porsha Williams.
After Williams’ return to RHOA was announced, she filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia, which complicated things. The preview for the new season shows Williams going to see her lawyers in a scene reminiscing of RHOA’s past.
“It is definitely crazy having to call Randy again and saying, ‘I got to file for divorce,'” Williams says in her confessional.
Williams clarifies that she hasn’t emotionally processed her divorce at this moment in time as she is dealing with the logistics. The entrepreneur and reality TV star also reveals that she filed for divorce to protect her assets, which include her home.
Her home came into play earlier this year when it was revealed that Guobadia was blocking Williams from filming RHOA at their shared home.
“Both of us have 50/50 interest in the house,” Williams says. “So, him now saying he doesn’t want me to film in my home is an issue.”
Williams’ lawyers explained that they were drafting a document that made it legal for her to film in her home, as the court had also granted her stay there.
“Because Simon sent a cease and desist, I can’t film in the house,” Williams said. “You don’t play with where I make my money. Don’t do that.”
