Claire (Hayley Erin) may be a full grown adult but her family doesn’t seem to treat her that way at all. Just look at the stronghold Victor (Eric Braeden) is keeping on her and how much he’s scheming to dissolve her romance with Kyle (Michael Mealor). For what? Why? Just because he doesn’t like that guy. And, how is Claire reacting to her granddad’s drama? Is she biting back at Victor? No. Absolutely not. She’s also not standing up for herself and letting him know she’s a big girl who can make her own big girl decisions. Instead, on Tuesday, she decided she wants to win him over with a party. Yes, a party. Does she really think throwing Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) a big shindig will be enough to get her grandpa to back up? If so, we understand why no one treats her like a grown up.

Michael’s Promise

On Wednesday, we got a touch of romance when Michael (Christian LeBlanc) planned a romantic evening to show Lauren (Tracey Bregman) she was his top priority. He kissed her, poured drinks, and revealed he’d rented the whole venue just for them. Lauren suspected it was an apology tied to their recent arguments over Victor, and she was right. We listened in as Michael promised to put his wife first from here on out but we’ve heard that all before. Does he mean it this time? We don’t think so! Let’s face it, the legal eagle never strays too far from the big boss.

Well, Hello There….

That little showdown between Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Amanda (Melissa Ordway) at Crimson Lights on Thursday was everything we wanted it to be. It was awkward. Extremely awkward. How could it not be? Just look at their history. Abby stole Devon (Bryton James) right out from under Amanda and is now married to him and has his baby. We have to hand it to Amanda, she exchanged those pleasantries like a pro before shutting it down and fluffing Abby off.
