Big changes could be coming to “The Valley.” While the drama-filled second season is still airing, multiple reports suggest that Bravo is already eyeing a serious cast shake-up ahead of season 3. Between behind-the-scenes tension and slipping ratings, insiders say the network is weighing its options to keep the show on track. Here’s everything we know so far.

Bravo Reportedly Eyeing New Cast Members to Keep Drama Flowing

According to an exclusive report from OK! Magazine, Bravo is actively casting for season 3 of “The Valley” — but insiders say it’s not because of ratings. In fact, the show currently ranks in the top 10 of Peacock’s most-watched shows of the week.

“The reason they’re casting,” a source explained, “is because they don’t want the show to end up like ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ where you have a cast that won’t film with each other.” The insider pointed to the messy splits between Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, and Jesse Lally and Michelle Lally, which could make future group scenes difficult. Additionally, cast member Janet Caperna is reportedly feuding with nearly everyone, causing more production headaches.

As for who casting has talked to so far? Sources tell OK! that Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and Jeremy Madix — Ariana Madix’s brother — have all been interviewed. There’s also chatter about bringing in Jesse Lally’s new girlfriend Lacy Nicole and possibly even the ex-girlfriend of Michelle Lally’s new boyfriend. Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick are also reportedly safe and expected to return next season.

Despite the behind-the-scenes drama, Bravo is committed to keeping “The Valley” on the air. Sources tell OK! the network isn’t planning to cancel the series, especially with a spinoff already in development as part of the “Shahs of Sunset” reboot.

Ratings Slump Reportedly Has Bravo Rethinking ‘The Valley’s’ Direction

However, a separate report from The U.S. Sun paints a more concerning picture. Insiders told the outlet that Bravo is seriously considering a shake-up due to declining ratings and cast behavior — particularly from Taylor.

“It’s too early to say how things will go next season,” one source said, “but the ratings decline has been a big blow for the show. Between that and the problematic behavior of Jax, the higher-ups are weighing the options over continuing with the trajectory it’s going in or regrouping.”

Putting the show on pause is reportedly not off the table, though the network is not currently considering outright cancellation. “The Valley” premiered in March 2024 to 780,000 viewers, but the numbers have since fallen sharply. Recent episodes have drawn as few as 360,000 viewers.

“There will 100% be changes to season 3, if it does get picked up,” the source told The U.S. Sun. “Some people won’t return and new ones will be added.”

One possible move? Bringing in more “Vanderpump Rules” alums. Insiders say there has been talk of giving Scheana Shay and Lala Kent larger roles if the show moves forward.

Meanwhile, Taylor is reportedly growing “terrified” about how his behavior will be perceived when the rest of season 2 airs. “He knows what’s coming for him is bad, worse than anything he’s ever done,” the insider said.

For now, fans will have to stay tuned to see how Bravo decides to handle the future of “The Valley.” Season 2 continues to air Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
