Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor were involved in a blowout fight on last night’s episode of The Valley season two.
As Brittany, 36, signaled a visitor Jax, 45, invited into their home, called out his cocaine addiction, and threatened a restraining order and more, Jax, who she accused of scary behavior, fired back with comments about her brief romance with Julian Sensley, 42, her failure to pay to pay the mortgage on their $1.9 million home, and her supposed “gaslighting.”
“I don’t want you kissing him on his face,” Brittany began on the April 22 episode. “You had a disgusting girl here last night. I don’t know if you took a shower, so no, please don’t kiss him on his face.”
Right away, Jax turned the tables on Brittany, asking, “Was Julian with you last night?”
“No, absolutely not,” Brittany replied.
Although Jax denied her claims as surveillance footage showed a woman at the home, he admitted to having Paige Woolen, 33, in their home in a confessional.
“I know that’s one of the rules I wasn’t supposed to break, but she was breaking the rules too. The rules were, nobody that we knew,” he reasoned, signaling Brittany’s past with Julian.
Back in the scene, as Brittany attempted to have a conversation with Jax, he told her, “[You] destroyed my life.”
“Go back to your boyfriend Julian who you’ve been hooking with the last five months,” he demanded, informing her that he has their relationship “documented” with “all the dates.”
He then targeted Brittany’s finances, telling her he didn’t care that she was upset about Paige being at their home because she “never paid one bill in this house.”
“You don’t pay the mortgage at all,” he noted.
“I pay all the bills in this house. I pay the property taxes. I put the same amount of money down as you did. And I still pay the bills here,” she clapped back.
Then, as Jax admitted to visiting Paige at her home, Brittany asked, “Who are you?!”
“You scared me and you hurt me. You need help,” she told him as he yelled, “You need help!”
“I’ve had to go to therapy because of all the stuff you’ve done to me,” Brittany continued. “You are literally a terrible person. You need to go get help for yourself and for our son. He cannot grow up and be a person like you.”
“I’ll never forgive you for this. Never,” Jax replied, attempting to evade production after Brittany mentioned that he’d thrown chairs and punched holes in their walls.
As Brittany hoped to see Jax complete a 30-day treatment program in rehab, he suspected she only wanted him there so she could “go hook up with a bunch of other guys.”
“Trust me. I got people watching,” he warned.
Jax also complained about the “toxic” situation he was in and called Brittany out for sending pictures of his son to other men.
“But yet I can’t have somebody over the house when she’s not there, that’s in a different room? That’s gaslighting. If anybody’s a gaslighter, that’s her,” he declared.
While Jax lashed out, saying she did the “same sh*t” as him, she said that if he didn’t complete his stay in rehab, she’d file for divorce, get full custody of Cruz, and request a restraining order against him.
“You have an addiction, and you need to be honest … Jax you have a coke problem. Everybody knows it. Own up to it,” she added.
Then, in a confessional, she further explained, “I’m done protecting Jax. He’s just been spiraling out of control. He’s gotten worse. I don’t know if he’s at rock bottom yet but he’s really freaking close … Cruz deserves more. I deserve more.”
Also on the episode, Jason Caperna, 41, was seen arriving at the home to pick up Jax and take him to rehab.
“The main reason I’m going to this place is for [Cruz]. I know I’m supposed to do it for myself first. But it’s really for him … So yeah, my name is Jax Taylor and I’m finally admitting that I need help,” Jax admitted in a confessional at the end of the show.
The Valley season two airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
