The Vanderpump Rules alum furiously reacted to certain situations with ex Brittany , 36, in such a “horrifying” way as cameras filmed – and he’s allegedly in “panic mode” about viewers seeing how it plays out.
“Jax has been trying to rally his Vanderpump and Valley costars to his side these past few weeks so they are publicly supportive of him when the season airs.
“He knows what’s coming for him is bad, worse than anything he’s ever done and Jax is f**king terrified of fans seeing this new season,” a source told The U.S. Sun.
The insider added: ”Whatever fans think they’re going to see – his behavior is worse.
“And most of it is caught on camera, the rest is talked about. A lot of viewers will never forgive him for his behavior and he knows that.
“He’s pulling out all the stops to save his career and is in panic mode.
“At this point, it’s basically turned into girls vs boys, with some of the men taking Jax’s side but all of the women supporting Brittany.”
Season 2 of The Valley, which premieres on Tuesday, April 15th on Bravo, will feature the demise of Jax ’s six-year marriage to Brittany.

In addition to the end of their relationship, it will also show Jax struggling with substance abuse and entering rehab for addiction .
Despite how difficult things appear to be – Brittany has claimed things with Jax , 45, are actually “a lot worse” than people can imagine.
“Things are a lot worse than people think. Just the controlling aspect of everything — wanting to know where I’m at, what I’m doing 24/7.
“You’ll see throughout the season. … They’re gonna be like, ‘Wow. She went through all of this?’
“And just because he is trying to be a better person doesn’t mean that it’s actually better,” the Kentucky native told UsWeekly .
‘I LOST CONTROL’
Last month, Jax revealed to Bravo producer Alex Baskin on the Hot Mic podcast that he was in recovery for an addiction to cocaine.
“I am an addict. I have substance issues – primarily with cocaine.
“It’s a hard thing to say out loud,” he hesitantly told the cameras.
“I’ve been dealing with this on and off since I was 23 and now I’m 45,” Jax said.
“There were times where I would stop doing it but then there were times where I’d go heavy on it.
“I’ve been doing it for a long time but the addiction got worse during my divorce and during my separation,” he added.
The Jax’s bar owner then admitted he “literally lost control. I hit rock bottom and I had to go to rehab.”
