Lala Kent recently opened up about the ongoing rumors regarding a potential romance between her and Tom Schwartz and confirmed plans for a third pregnancy in a series of interviews.
As she explained where she stands in terms of dating and her future, and explained why she wants to be pregnant with her third child within the year, the 34-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum, who currently stars alongside Schwartz, 42, on The Valley, addressed claims of having “chemistry” with her castmate.
“Can I tell you, Schwartzy, we got this so much [Vanderpump Rules] season 11,” Lala said on the June 23 episode of Give Them Lala, via Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “And I didn’t realize it because I avoid the comment section, but it was every time I went on a podcast or anything like that. People always said that… We talked about it. I feel like I would be way too high-strung and intense for you.”
Although Schwartz said he was aware of the rumors, he admitted that he doesn’t believe he and Lala would be compatible as partners.
“Remember, these were your words, you would chew me up,” he laughed. “No, I think you said, ‘I eat pieces of sh*t like you for breakfast.’”
During another appearance on Amazon Live, Lala noted that she and Schwartz would be more compatible if he had less of a social life or if she had more of one, which he later agreed with.
“I love staying in, by the way,” he clarified. “There’s nothing I enjoy more in this world than staying in and cocooning. I love being in my bed, cozy.”
Meanwhile, during the July 1 episode of his Detox Retox podcast, the co-stars again reacted to the rumors of a romance.
“What the f*ck is going on?” Lala wondered, signaling an image of the two of them in which she was pregnant. “It looks like I’m also carrying your baby. I’m sweating.”
According to Schwartz, he’s been faced with questions from even his closest friends about their relationship.
“I wake up today, and the first thing I see from my dear friend is a text. ‘Hit me up! What’s up with you and Lala?’” he recalled. “And then I got another text from somebody else.”
While some believe Lala and Schwartz would be good for one another, Lala said she hasn’t “thought about men in a romantic way in a very long time.”
“I feel like it will come one day when it’s supposed to,” she reasoned. “I could be fine by myself. This is just me being open to whatever the universe places me in. We’re going to know that’s where we are supposed to be.”
Lala also said that she had no interest in dating during an interview days ago.
“I like to say I’ve been talking to men because dating means that there’s a potential for it to go somewhere. And I just don’t want that right now,” Lala revealed to Parents magazine on July 3. “If I start dating, you’re taking me away from my children physically. But what’s even worse? If my heart gets involved and you do something to make it hurt, you will take me mentally away from my children. That means I could be in the same room as my kids, and I’m not present. I just cannot allow it.”
As she continues to enjoy being a mom to daughters Ocean, 4, and Sosa, nine months, Lala hopes to soon welcome at least one more child.
“It is so fulfilling and it’s difficult, but we’re a well-oiled machine,” Lala gushed. “And I just don’t think I’m done. I think I need one more. I am loving it so much that I’m not ready for the stages to be over as they pass.”
Because she wants her children to be close in age, Lala is preparing for a third pregnancy within the year.
“I think that’s a good age gap,” she said, noting that her youngest, Sosa, would be 2-ish once her third child was born. “I didn’t love that Ocean and Sosa are three and a half years apart. I like sticking to the two-and-a-half range. But you know what? The universe has a plan for me, and we just roll with it.”
One person who’s on board with Lala’s plans to expand her family is Ocean, who would like to see the Pump Rules alum have “five more babies.”
“Ocean is only 4, but she’s always seemed like an old soul and just wise beyond her years,” Lala explained. “When Sosa came into the mix, it just gave Ocean a different level of confidence. She really enjoys helping me out, even throwing away a dirty diaper. That was huge for her. She’s like, ‘I touched a poopy diaper!’ She really sunk into becoming a little caretaker, and it’s adorable to watch.”
The Valley season two airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
