AMC's The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol is welcoming Stephen Merchant (The Office, The Outlaws) to the Season 3 cast.
AMC's Norman Reedus (Daryl) and Melissa McBride (Carol)-starring The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol has us all over the map when it comes to covering the hit spinoff series. With the second season currently airing ("Moulin Rouge" hits on Sunday), filming for the third season continues in and around Spain – and now we have some additional casting news to pass along. Stephen Merchant (The Office, The Outlaws) has joined the cast, though no details on his character or their role were included with the initial announcement – though with rumblings of a stop in England before heading to Spain, that might be where Merchant could play a factor.
AMC Networks hosted a global premiere red carpet screening at Cine Callao in Madrid, Spain. Stepping out for the big event on Wednesday night were Reedus and McBride, as well as Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Anne Charrier, Romain Levi, Eriq Ebouaney, Joel de la Fuente, Manish Dayal, and Nassima Benchicou. In addition, Chief Content Officer of the Walking Dead Universe and Executive Producer Scott M. Gimple, Showrunner and Executive Producer David Zabel, Director and Executive Producer Greg Nicotero, and additional members of the creative team were also in attendance.
