The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that there are four things that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) could never fully forgive her Grandpa Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for.
Is Victor on the verge of committing one or more of those unforgivable sins? Time will tell, but let’s run down the list of the transgressions Claire just couldn’t get past.
1) Ruining Kyle’s relationship with his parents again
Claire put a lot of time and effort into helping Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) fix his relationship with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).
If Victor does anything to sabotage Kyle’s bond with his parents now, Claire will be furious.
Although Claire loves Victor and wants to be accepted by him, she definitely has limits to what she’ll tolerate.
Watching Victor derail all the progress Kyle’s made with Diane and Jack would definitely rile Claire up – perhaps enough to turn against her grandfather.
2) Putting Jack or Kyle in prison
Victor has infiltrated Jabot using some spies that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) helped plant there, but Kyle and Jack have caught on.
Now that Jack and Kyle are going to use those same spies against Victor, bad news could be brewing.
Victor will inevitably retaliate and keep this revenge cycle going strong, but just how far will he go to make Kyle and Jack pay?
We certainly wouldn’t put it past Victor to set Kyle and Jack up for some sort of corporate crime.
If Victor ever manages to put Jack and Kyle in prison – even if it’s just a temporary situation – that might be something Claire would never forgive.
3) Landing Kyle or Jack in physical danger
Naturally, we can’t rule out the possibility of Victor doing something to land Kyle or Jack in physical danger.
Victor can make some pretty risky moves when he’s angry – and he’ll definitely be angry once Jack and Kyle thwart his spy plot.
Could Y&R’s latest round of Newman-Abbott feuding take a more serious turn? Could it somehow lead to Jack and Kyle ending up in harm’s way?
If that’s the case, Claire might totally turn her back on Victor and consider him a monster.
4) Using Audra or Summer to seduce Kyle
Victor has assured Claire that he won’t try to sabotage her romance with Kyle despite his disapproval.
However, Victor seems poised to break that promise by encouraging Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to get even with Kyle – presumably by derailing his relationship with Claire.
If Victor manipulates Audra or even Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) into a seduction plot, that might send Claire over the edge.
Claire might decide to cut Victor out of her life over a move like that, so it could be Grandpa’s worst mistake yet.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Claire has been making optimistic predictions about Victor’s change of heart, but she may get updates on a harsh reality down the road!
