The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has turned into a monster lately, so does he need to dial down the rage? Has Victor become too mean and threatening at this point?
We get that Victor has a long history of playing by his own rules.
Victor has never been someone to mess with, so his fierce side and intimidation tactics are nothing new.
However, the real problem is that Victor isn’t a very well-balanced character anymore.
Victor’s softer side has become almost non-existent now that he’s constantly dishing out threats and having angry meltdowns.
It’s tough to even think of many scenes recently when Victor wasn’t arguing or putting someone on full blast.
Even when Victor isn’t delivering warnings to his enemies, he’s defending his over-the-top attitude to his loved ones.
Of course, the Newman and Abbott rivalry is to be expected on this show, but Victor seems to be going overboard in his feud with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and his disdain for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and even Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) have all been on the receiving end of Victor’s threats lately as well.
No one is saying Victor has to be a cuddly teddy bear, but it’d be nice if he could act like a normal person instead of the furious monster he’s become.
Victor’s daily outbursts are out of control, so maybe he needs to dial it down and find some rationality again.
Naturally, we don’t want Victor to lose his spunk! It can be fun to watch Victor unleash his wrath, but it’d be better if his aggressive side was used in moderation.
Do you think Victor’s turned into too much of a monster? Should Y&R rein Victor in a bit and show a few more layers to his character?
For now, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will continue to lay down the law and make vengeful predictions about what’s ahead, so stay tuned for updates on any bad news that’s brewing.
