The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers imply that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has a horrible feeling someone is out to get him … literally!
He invited Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to his summer party in France to help find out who’s behind this plan to murder him.
However, there’s a good chance that Chance’s investigation could go awry. If this does, will Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) step up to the plate and strike a deal with Cane where she offers her snooping assistance for a rock-solid role in his organization?
Something Awful Happens To Chance Chancellor
With Conner Floyd heading to Days of Our Lives, fans can’t help but feel as if Chance could meet his demise helping Cane find out who’s behind his murder plot. If Chance exits in an ugly way, Cane will be left with a tremendous amount of guilt and no answers.
There have been hints of a ‘Who Dun It’ set to rock the canvas, so it’s hard not to think fans will witness Chance’s demise, but not see who was behind it.
Phyllis is desperate to land in Cane’s orbit and while he did promise a spot to her somewhere in his organization, she wants so much more than just ‘a job’ – she wants a position big enough where she can rub it into Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) face.
A Killer Deal
Y&R audiences know what a stellar snooper Phyllis is, so will she attempt to get to the bottom of the murder plot and who’s behind it in order to present a deal of sorts?
Phyllis may hope to impress Cane enough for him to fund a project of hers, or potentially give her the reins at Chancellor.
Plus, Phyllis would have to force herself to move past her recent trauma so she can successfully impress Cane Ashby, which will also be an interesting watch, since she’s struggled so much with this recently. But will Phyllis be successful in figuring this all out? Could she get closer to Cane in the process?
