The Young and the Restless Week of July 7 Update: Knife Attack Mayhem – Wedding Bells – Schemers Play with Fire

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of July 7-11 reveals that there’ll be some knife attack mayhem in Nice while some wedding bells are ready to ring back in Genoa City. Some schemers will also play with fire, so there’ll be a lot happening on the CBS soap.

First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will decide it’s time to prove Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) isn’t a worthy adversary with a takedown plot.

That’s why Victor will insist on sticking around instead of trying to get off the mountain right away.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) won’t stick around France since he’s got more important things to do back home.

Victor will count on Adam to investigate Cane’s actions and try to get a better grasp on his full agenda.

As for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’ll intensify her efforts to pull Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) closer.

However, Audra’s plan could work a little too well if she goes too far!

Both Kyle and Audra are playing with fire, so Y&R fans will be eager to see if they’ll surrender to sizzling temptation.

Audra could complicate her arrangement with Victor if she crosses into full-blown betrayal territory.

It could be tough for Audra to do what needs to be done for Vibrante while still keeping her romance with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) intact.

Meanwhile, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will turn to Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) for comfort while Kyle’s stuck in Nice.

Could Claire end up locking lips with Holden during their bonding session or will they manage to keep it platonic for now?

Over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), they’ll clash over the secrets Mariah continues to keep regarding her business trip.

Since Tessa won’t feel like she’s getting anywhere, she’ll bring up the possibility of divorce.

On a happier note, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will impress Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) with a romantic night that ends in a marriage proposal.

Christina will have to decide if she’s willing to say “yes” to Danny’s wedding bells idea – and there’s a good chance she indeed will.

After Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) consoles Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) over the loss of Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), she’ll reconvene with Adam and trade information.

Adam will get updates on Cole’s tragic outcome, so he should give Victoria his condolences eventually.

Chelsea will also find out the latest news from Nice, so Adam will confirm Cane is Aristotle Dumas.

Now that Cane is prepping some bold Genoa City moves, Adam and Chelsea will plan to fight back as a sneaky duo.

Back with Victoria, she’ll face a difficult choice.

That could have something to do with Cole’s funeral arrangements – or maybe it’ll be about whether to bury or cremate him.

Whatever the case, Victoria will struggle through the next steps while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) hands down a stern ultimatum in Nice.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be on the receiving end as he clashes with his brother in the week ahead.

You can bet Jack will have a problem with Billy focusing on Chancellor instead of Abbott Communications.

Jack sank a hefty investment into Billy’s new venture, so he may warn Billy to concentrate on it or else!

Other Y&R spoilers say Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will team up on a special project.

Nick will have concerns about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) getting in over her head with Cane, so he may recruit Sharon to help him intervene.

Unfortunately, Cane will make a special demand of Phyllis soon – perhaps one that proves her willingness to betray Nick like she promised.

As for Cane, he’ll seethe after witnessing multiple close moments between Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers).

Cane wants Lily back for himself, so he won’t be happy about the competition.

Despite all the attention Lily’s giving Damian, it may be Cane who haunts her dreams since some fantasy scenes are coming up for the exes.

Finally, someone wearing gloves will carry out a knife attack, so some mayhem will erupt in the aftermath.

Will Cane face an attempt on his life as he predicted or could someone else get eliminated by mistake?

Either way, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Damian could become the top suspect thanks to his fingerprints being on the weapon, so stay tuned.
