Curtis is running to Jordan. Should she run away?
Jordan should not give Curtis a second chance
Been there, done that, General Hospital. Jordan and Curtis were once a happy couple. It appears they are moving back in that direction, but is it a good idea?
Once upon a time, Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) were the perfect couple. They had been through a lot before they finally got together, but when they did, it seemed like magic.
They both had a past, but when hers returned to Port Charles in the form of Cyrus Renault (ex-Jeff Kober), things began to unravel. She kept some secrets from her husband about the case. When he found out what had happened and that she had lied, he divorced her. No ifs, ands or buts, just goodbye. Jordan was heartbroken.
But was that the only reason Curtis left his wife? Coincidentally, this all happened around the same time that Portia (Brook Kerr) arrived in Port Charles. It just so happened that the two had an affair years earlier, and there seemed to be some lingering feelings there. Not surprisingly, they reunited right after Curtis left Jordan.
Curtis had different rules for Portia than he had for Jordan. Portia told the biggest lie: everyone believed that her husband, Taggert (Real Andrews), was the father of her daughter, Trina (Tabyana Ali). The truth was that Curtis was her dad, but he forgave that pretty quickly, unlike what happened with Jordan.
Now there is trouble in paradise. His wife lied to him once again, and this time, he is less forgiving. He hasn’t left her yet, but is definitely keeping his distance. Meanwhile, he is leaning on his ex-wife. Curtis is confiding in Jordan and running to her with his problems, and she is allowing it.
It took the ex-Deputy Mayor a long time to get over her ex-husband. She had a hard time dealing with his new love and life with Portia, but she handled herself with grace. It looked like Jordan was finally moving on when she began a relationship with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), but that was over when she started working for Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Jordan probably never fell out of love with Curtis, even though he was awful to her. We hope she remembers how he dumped her and ran right into Portia’s arms. She deserves better. Jordan is a smart, successful, beautiful, and powerful woman. She should be with someone who appreciates her and not someone who turns to her when his marriage is failing. Do you agree?
