This Love Is Blind And Perfect Match Star Banned Herself From Other Dating Reality TV Shows

Micah Lussier's quest to find love probably won't be on your television set anytime soon.

What Has Micah Lussier Been Up To Since Love Is Blind Season 4?

The Love Is Blind and Perfect Match star says she is no longer dating on television after failing to find a man on popular Netflix shows, but she still wants to be involved in reality television in some capacity.

This article will explain why Micah is turning off the cameras trying to capture her romantic life. Then, we'll explain what happened on Perfect Match and her season of Love Is Blind that left the Seattle-based blonde feeling bitter.

Micah Lussier Is Done Dating On Television

Perfect Match cast member Micah wasn't able to find a committed romantic partner on season 2 of the dating show. Viewers watched her argumentative attempt at a relationship with Kaz Bishop crumble throughout the episodes.

They are no longer together and the 28-year-old announced she's done looking for love on camera.

In a June 2024 interview with Jason Tartick on the Trading Secrets podcast, she revealed it's time for a change but fully intends to keep her face in the public light. At this time, she's just not sure what those next steps will be.

People don't want to say it, but one of the things of staying relevant as a reality TV person is continuing to go on shows or at least getting your face in front of a camera, so that's something that I'm definitely trying to do.

She's not afraid to admit that there are no plans to step out of the spotlight, but hopes to find another way to keep her fame going strong without her personal relationships on blast.

The reality television star preferred the "vibe" of Perfect Match more than Love Is Blind because she said her personality fit better in a show that was more "relaxed" and "casual" than Love Is Blind, where two strangers meet through a wall, get engaged and are expected to say "I Do" or "I Don't" in nearly a month after meeting.

As she looks ahead, she told the podcast "there's not a ton of routes for Netflix to go" and is eying other opportunities on other networks, but she stopped short of confirming if she's in a relationship with anybody.

I think it's time to hang up the towel on the dating shows at this point for me.

Micah said she's now looking to pursue a show that is a little more "family-friendly" to change her image. As fans know, she was stamped with a "mean girl" image on her season of Love Is Blind for making fun of co-stars with her friend Irina Solomonova.

Whatever show she ends up on in the future, she told Jason that she falls hard for men and that could probably continue (only if she's single, which she won't reveal).

Why Micah Was Dumped At The Altar During The Finale Of Love Is Blind

Micah met Paul Peden during season 4 of Love Is Blind when it filmed in Seattle.

On their wedding day, he broke her heart by telling her that he didn't want to marry her as they stood on the altar in front of their family and friends.

He told cameras that he had problems envisioning her as a "mother" and added it was hard for him to see her "nurturing" ways."

At the reunion, Micah said his comment was "the worst thing that could be said."

They had an on-and-off relationship after filming and eventually went separate ways.

Season 4 of Love Is Blind was filmed over a month and a half. Micah told the Trading Secrets podcast she was able to get work off because she was transitioning to a new job but her employer never knew she was appearing on the show until it aired.

What Was Micah's Job Before She Went On Television?

She worked in the marketing department for a large tech company based in Seattle and made $130,000 per year in her 20s, according to The Trading Secrets podcast.

She went on the show after two Love Is Blind producers reached out to her. One of the producers sent her a direct message through Instagram and another producer reached out after her co-worker filled out a Love Is Blind application for her at work as a joke.

These days, aside from appearing on television, she is an influencer in the lifestyle space and works with skincare, makeup and travel brands.

Other Perfect Match Breakups

Perfect Match Season 2 winners Christine Obanor and Nigel Jones are no longer together, according to People. The couple wasn't really part of the story line until the end of the season, yet, they still beat their cast mates and scored a trip to Thailand to grow their relationship. Unfortunately, they broke up shortly after the series wrapped and haven't revealed why.

Love Is Blind's Jessica Vestal and Harry Jowsey's on-and-off relationship is officially over. Jess told E! News that she's "not really sure" why it ended.

I just know that's all on him, and it doesn't have to do with me.

Harry told E! News his life is "a little bit crazy" and he's not the "easiest person to date."

The rest of the couples, like Alara Taneri and Stevan Ditter, Chris Hahn and Tolu Ekundare and Elys Hutchinson and Squid Game: The Challenge bad boy Bryton Constantin also split.
