Thomas Ravenel accused Patricia Altschul of generating “lies” that led people to think he’s “keeping the kids away” from his ex, Kathryn Dennis. The former Southern Charm star also called Patricia “disgusting,” and he claimed she’s “the biggest scum” in Charleston.
For several years, Thomas fought over custody with Kathryn, with whom he shares two kids. At the time, she reportedly lost custody after testing positive for cannabis, which is now legal medicinally in most of the country.
In a May 6 post on X, Thomas had some choice words for Patricia.
“While I’m from Charleston the best thing I can share with you is that the biggest scum in this city is Patricia altschul,” he tweeted.
In another post, he suggested he was “single,” and he addressed his custody situation with Kathryn.
“I’m a single man,” he wrote. “I’d love to have someone who could responsibly take care of her own children half of the time but she won’t even take … a tiny fraction of the time the court allotted her. Everyone thinks I’m keeping the kids away from her but it’s all lies from her.”
He claimed these “lies” were “generated from the disgusting Patricia Altschul,” who has “zero friends in Charleston.”
Back in February, Thomas suggested that Patricia’s son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, perhaps slept with all the women on the show.
“I’m not of this sure but fairly 90% sure that Whitney has had sex with every single girl that’s on Southern Charm,” said Thomas at the time on X. “I mean he makes [Harvey] Weinstein look like Jesus Christ.”
He went on to say, “Whitney is right now begging me to take this down because he knows it’s going to f**k his wh**e of a mother. He’s nothing but a total piece of s**t.”
Thomas later publicly apologized to both of them.
“I just had a long conversation with Patricia Altschul and her son Whitney Sudler-Smith,” he wrote soon after. “And we took a deep dive into what happened over the past 7 years. She basically confirmed what I intuitively knew all along, that she was always my friend and I hereby want to publicly apologize to her for the mean things that I said about her. I extend this apology to Whitney as well. He’s always been a dear friend especially after the death of my father.”
