Three series-long Stanley Cup series props to consider

The Stanley Cup Final starts Saturday night, and while we will of course have game-to-game prop picks, it couldn't hurt to load up a few series-long futures that we can track and root on each game. There are some intriguing markets available, and we're jumping on a trio of plus-money looks.

NHL picks: Best player prop bets for Stars-Golden Knights in Game 1 of Western Conference Final - DraftKings Network

1u: Matthew Tkachuk to record over 1.5 shots on goal in each game (+175 ESPN BET)

This is -125 on FanDuel for reference, which already paints the picture of some value. This one is quite simple. Matthew Tkachuk has 2+ shots in 32 of his last 37 postseason games over the past two seasons, which includes every single Stanley Cup Final game last year.

In those games, he's averaged 3.4 SOG per game, and this year, that number is sitting at 3.9 SOG/game through 17 such games.

He's got some nice history against Edmonton as well, averaging 3.8 shots across his past 13 matchups, logging 2+ SOG 11 times.

Florida should own the shot advantage on most nights (more on that in a moment), and Tkachuk should stay involved.

1u: Connor McDavid to record over 1.5 shots on goal in each game (+135 ESPN BET)

Found under SC Finals Specials - Lord Connor's Cup

Here's another we just can't pass up, especially with FanDuel hanging the same line at -105. McDavid is obviously Edmonton's most important player, and he upped the aggressive in the Conference Final to match the moment.

He averaged 3.83 SOG per game, averaging 7.33 attempts, and he now has 2+ shots in 25 of his last 30 playoff games.

McDavid is going to have to keep creating here, and considering he's averaged 4.0 SOG per game on 6.5 attempts/game in his past six against Florida (never once finishing with fewer than three), we like his chances.

1u: Stuart Skinner 20+ saves in each game (+118 FanDuel)

Found under Series Specials

This is just a number I cannot pass up. Florida has averaged 33.24 shots per game across their 17 playoff games, and this team has been one of the shot leaders in the NHL for three years running.

Even accounting for a slight dip as things tighten up, it seems very likely this team logs 25+ shots every single game. Adin Hill hit this mark for Vegas during last year's Stanley Cup Final in all five games, and there was only one such game this postseason that a goalie did not hit 20+ saves against Florida.

That was Game 2 against Boston, when Jeremy Swayman saved 19 shots and allowed four goals and getting pulled for Linus Ullmark, who added eight saves to the night's total.

Unless Skinner is pulled or injured, he is going to be hitting this mark.
