Tom Schwartz stopped by the Summer House and recalled his memorable visit from years past.
Tom Schwartz is hoping that his most recent visit to the Summer House will prove less memorable than previous trips.
The Vanderpump Rules and Winter House alum dropped by the Hamptons during Season 9, Episode 11, and recalled with Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke the fact that his summer getaways haven't always gone as expected.
"This is a special one for me," announced Tom, bringing the guys in for a hug. "I'm not secretly divorced, I'm not mired in controversy, I'm not bleeding from any holes!"
Wait, what? It's been a while, so let's recap that last one.
Why did Tom Schwartz go to the hospital on Summer House?
Way back in 2019 on Season 3, Episode 12 of Summer House, Tom went to the hospital for bleeding. It was on the heels of the Vanderpump Rules Season 7 trip to Mexico, which had resulted in multiple cases of severely upset stomachs for the cast. Specifically, Tom was experiencing a form of traveler's diarrhea (or, as Kyle referred to it in an interview, "Montezuma's revenge") that escalated to bleeding.
Viewers saw that Tom had complained of "two weeks" pain from the moment he got to the Hamptons. So when Kyle came in to check on him with a delicate "Yo, homie," it wasn't a huge surprise that he answered with "I'm going to the hospital!" and an uncomfortable laugh.
"Dude, it's killing me," Tom explained to the housemates, "It's really bad."
Fortunately, everything turned out okay — doctors diagnosed Tom with a rectal fissure and sent him back after treatment — but it's hard to forget the time you left your friend's vacation home with that specific of a medical issue.
After reminiscing on what was *not* happening anymore, Kyle and Tom shared a cheers in the kitchen.
"I love you guys," the TomTom co-owner cooed.
