In the wake of Garcelle Beauvais’ dramatic exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika Jayne is finally breaking her silence — and her words make one thing clear: the wounds may be too deep for a comeback.
“I have no idea if we’ll ever fix it,” Erika admitted during a recent interview. “Too much was said. Too much was felt. And now… she’s gone.”
A Friendship That Fell Apart in Front of the Cameras
Fans of RHOBH watched the friendship between Erika and Garcelle unravel over several seasons — from biting shade and loyalty tests to explosive reunion showdowns. But while there were occasional moments of peace, the tension always simmered beneath the surface.
“There was a time I thought we could be friends for real,” Erika shared. “But it’s hard to come back from being questioned, judged, and publicly challenged every step of the way.”
“She Walked Away Without Looking Back”
Garcelle’s decision to leave the franchise came amid rising conflicts with several castmates — but it was her final words at the reunion that stuck with Erika the most.
“When she said she was done, she meant it,” Erika said. “No goodbye. No let’s talk. Just… done. And that kind of exit leaves a scar.”
Erika admits that while she may appear tough, she did care about their connection — even if she couldn’t always show it in the moment.
“I know I come off harsh. But I felt betrayed too. And I guess we both just hit a point where neither one of us was willing to bend anymore.”
Could Time Heal It?
As for the future of their friendship, Erika isn’t optimistic — but she’s not entirely closed off, either.
“I never say never. But right now? I think we both need space. And honestly, I don’t know who we’d even be to each other anymore.”
She pauses, then adds quietly:
“You can’t repair something when one person’s already gone.”
